My style is not dictated to one genre but all the songs I make i always put my soul into them in some little way and i hope they connect directly with other people on some level. I have so many unreleased jamz and song ideas I've decided to put some of them here. Sadly most of them I cant find because HDs disappear. I have at least 3 albums of (often terrible) material that I'll never find again. But as I find lost tracks I'll try and put them here even if they suck.

It doesn't matter if it's jazz or pop, as long as it sounds handmade. This at least is the claim S.L.O. raises. Everything published here under SUNFLOWER LAP ORCHESTRA is composed and arranged by J. Reincke, predominantly while commuting on railroads.

S.L.O.'s influences are Beatles, Beatles and even The Beatles. Okay, besides the fab four trail (Sir George Martin, Jeff Lynne, XTC, Jellyfish, Sean Lennon) there are also Steve Reich, Vince Guaraldi, Mark Hollis, Jamie Cullum, (the early) Genesis, The Police, György Ligeti and some more. 

Special thanks to Vince Guaraldi und Andy Partridge who introduced me into jazz with "Linus and Lucy", "Joe Cool" and the great "The Man Who Sailed Around His Soul".
