'Arrows' is the first single from from my sophomore EP 'River By The Storm', coming out late 2018.

After stepping back for most of the last two years to pursue other professional interests, the undeniable pull to make music again means Vinten begins his inevitable return with his powerful and infectious new single, Arrows. 

Arrows was written and recorded in a St. Kilda sharehouse over the spring months of 2017. This track, the first single of Vinten’s sophomore EP, ‘River By The Storm’, which will be released in late 2018, is an emotionally charged track about a loved one who isn’t quite seeing the world for what it is, and the strength required to stay resilient in moments where it’s easy to give in.

After working with some great producers since Vinten has been releasing music, including coast legend Nick Huggins, and hitmaker Charles Fisher, he saw this release as his chance to go on his own, and explore his sound as a songwriter and producer wrapped in to one.  The result is a crafted blend of light electronica built on a base of acoustic instruments familiar to his earlier releases.  

A heartfelt track with an addictive chorus, Arrows is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud and for download in the iTunes store.

Vinten - Arrows

A very personal song I wrote for my wife while we were struggling to conceive our first child. I know there are couples out there who can relate. I hope this song helps you through the journey.
