Long-winded essays on the musical qualities of Wareika are unnecessary. The trio has been playing its way in to the hearts of electronic listeners and party-goers since their first release in 2008 - especially with their brilliant live performances.

Wareika's solid output has been proven over and over with steady releases on noted labels like liebe*detail, Conaisseur or Perlon. Falling categorically somewhere in between house, jazz and dub, Wareika have remained individualists and their music is a hot topic for DJs, clubbers and festival visitors alike.

Now, at the end of the 2011 season, we're proud to release "Amber Vision" - a Wareika record that couldn't fit better into the Bar25 musical family.

The track "Red Sun" plays with the clownish atmosphere particular to special times enjoyed in our own four walls. Brass, piano, and a crazy male chorus suddenly give way to harmonies from the far east - as always, one of the miniature all-you-can-eat musical buffets provided by Wareika.

By contrast, "Forest" is a hypnotic bassline number dominated by wonderfully weird vocals. A runway made for take-off...

...directly into the arms of Mathias Kaden, our good friend and travel companion from Vakant. This lush ending to the release offers something for the club DJ. Taking elements from both tracks, Mathias tinkered up a phenomenal, rolling house ride, inspiring us to thank him in the name of the sweaty club crowd before it even hits the dance floor.

Wareika - Red Sun [BAR25-020]

Death on the Balcony's ‘Tides Of Fortune' has been the subject of relentless "track ID" requests pleading us to reveal the name of the artist and track since Be-At-TV streamed the BPM performance of Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay back in 2015. 
Joined on the EP by three other tracks there's a cohesive feel to the two friends vibe. Mysterious melodies drift in and out of the hypnotic grooves on Rivers of sound that could have soundtracked a star trek episode from the original series.

'1700 miles' is delicate and deep with a simple infectious vocal sample. Don't be deceived though. When played on a club system the kick drum and bassline draw you in while the atmospheric elements send the listener to otherworldly places. We feel rather privileged as this track is Mark’s first solo outing from DOTB under his new moniker “Caramelli” and DOTBs first full length on All Day I Dream. 

Mark’s back in the band for 'Memories Of The Future' which completes the release with its funky bass and trippy ambience.

Following the splendid and heavily supported EP from Wild Dark, we introduce the next release coming from German producer HELMS. He is one of those musicians who loves to be surrounded by an ocean of blinking lights coming from analog synthesizers and beat machines. 
	His first LP ‘Warnow Valley’ consists of seven originals and two dubs, which serve as a perfect example of his extremely well rounded artistry. The collection brings a shining, multifaceted dancefloor-ready sound, which is full of depth. 
	 "Warnow Valley" is named after a creative space-building project in HELMS' hometown Rostock, where he has his studio and collaborated with many different singers, percussionists, and instrumentalists on this album.
	The singer Darlini Singh Kaul wrote the lyrics for the title track  "Warnow Valley". As a world musician, she has many different ways of expressing herself, but always with a truly authentic voice. All her vocals in this track were recorded in one take, to capture the authenticity and purity of her performance. The Berlin-based musician and singer Bonfante, wrote and sang her part in "La Luna" in Spanish, her native tongue, capturing her heritage while still being in the present moment musically. Other musicians on the album include Vader, who sang her intimate part in "You Wanna Too" and the guitarist and singer Pierre Sandeck, who performed and sang in "Waiting For".
	This release is truly an ensemble of engrossing, quality driven deep house productions, which look into the future.“Warnow Valley”  is available as a 5 track 12” Vinyl release via www.truecolorslabel.com and many good shops, as well as full 9 track LP digitally.
