The Adana Twins have been collecting and curating hot new productions from a variety of sources, new and more established, compiling a V/A that distills that ineffable TAU sound into 16 diverse cuts. After running Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity imprint, touring on the international DJ circuit and building an impressive portfolio of remixing credits and collaborative releases over many years, André Hommen is now spreading his wings as a fully-fledged ar- tist.

'Introspectral', his third solo release, show- cases a producer who has fine-tuned his talents over a long period of time and - as the portmanteau title suggests - both reflected intensely and explored a broad spectrum of sounds.

The aquatic bass pulses of the title track, topped with cycling loops, surging drones and melancholy chords, paves the way for a dancing riff that will surely have hands re- aching for the air. With its textbook builds and sweeping dynamics, it's an impeccably rendered and dazzlingly hypnotic groove.

On the more introspective, bass-heavy Dub, Hommen weaves a web of gritty arpeggios and chiming synths whose intricacy is un- veiled in a long, beatless breakdown.

Last up, the writhing sub bass and Mor- se code pings of 'Centrifuge' cast an air of Hitchcockian menace: prelude to a cre- scendo of bright synths and blinding light as the machine revs up to maximum velocity.

We open the SPEICHER gates to Swedish export La Fleur. She’s been on a roll with consistent releases for Truesoul, her own Power Plant imprint plus last year’s collaboration with Sasha and an Essential Mix. La Fleur fulfills the difficult matrimony of bridging minimal-house percussion with deep emotive groove on “Tears”. In her own words “"I wanted to create a feeling of melancholy, the dreamer wanted this dream to be true and then on waking up realized that it was all just a dream. Hence the vocal, washing my dreams away with tears."

John Monkman and James Monro are an unlikely pairing in the best of ways. John's riding high on recent releases for Last Night On Earth and Ellum then James comes to us from releasing on Flying Rhino and Proton. The result is “Pesto Punk” - a raging conglomeration of delinquent-techno madness that is precisely what we love to release on SPEICHER. Snares slap to a heavy double bass drum in a maelstrom of depth charged synths and random sounds.
