Metrik is a London-based electronic music producer, vocalist and DJ celebrated for his pioneering approach to drum & bass. Over the past decade, his soaring melodies, explosive energy and innovative sound design have earned him top chart positions, placed him on major festival stages and cultivated a devoted global following.

In recent years, Metrik’s artistic evolution has deepened as he’s become the lead vocalist in his own music, bringing an intensely personal dimension to his sound. By layering his voice over bold guitar riffs, metallic accents and distorted synth textures, he has forged a fierce yet emotive new direction. Ritchies' musical roots began with a passion for the trance movement in the mid 90's and that distinctive Balearic sound. His love of soulful house and disco from the likes of Soulfuric Records and Defected tuned his ears to the structure of powerful melodies, wicked vocals and hitting the club scene to appreciate it all live. 

This was his inspiration to dive in to DJing and producing electronic music, which was soon followed by opportunities to perform in niche venues across London.

Since then Ritchie has performed at venues across the UK & Ibiza, with particular focus on the Capital scene including, Horse & Groom, Egg, Ministry Of Sound, McQueen, E1, Orange Yard, the incredible Ibiza Sunset Boat Parties, Eden and Pacha. Supporting brand promotions such as the famous Ibiza brand Pukka Up, London Sound Academy, ARRVL, The Gallery. EXiT, Selador.

His style fuses a range of influences from Nu disco, vocal, progressive & deep house right through to tech house and techno, depending on the time, space & environment.

His passion and love of progressive House, electronica & Deep techno, saw him co-found events and record label brand ARRVL 6 years ago - focussed on showcasing the music which takes followers & fellow genre lovers on memorable, emotive, musical narratives.

Ritchie also runs the house, disco and indie dance events brand, Social Beats, with over 20 events across London and beyond.

In the last 6 years, he has focused his attention to the production side, with a number of EP and single releases on labels such as ICONYC, Coldharbour, NYLO, 64K Recordings, Krafted Underground., Capital Heaven, Mango Alley and Manual. And there’s much more to come in 2024.

Begonnen hat alles in der Discothek BigValley im Jahr 1999,wo er als LJ tätig war
und Kai Tracid ihn dazu inspiriert hat das DJ Handwerk zu erlernen
Mit dem richtigen Equipment brachte er sich das Auflegen
selbst bei. Schnell bemerkte er, das House in allen Richtungen sein Element ist.
Nach einigen Auftritten auf Veranstaltungen in Nidda und der Umgebung bekam er Lust auf
mehr. Er hat beim Planet DJ search 09 mitgemacht und mit DJ`s wie Ziel 100,
DJ Sonic, Tom Rooster, Warmduscher, Peter Latino, Stadi und Tom Wax, SKAI, Marco Sönke, Dirk Sauer, M.in  
aufgelegt, und ist auch bei der Eventreihe House in the City in Bad Hersfeld mit dabei. Seit 2011 hat er seine 
eigene Eventreihe  We Love House womit er die Partypeople versucht zu begeistern.
