We've been recording these songs in our own studio since 2009. While the music is an eclectic mix of Folk, Rock'n'Roll, Blues and Jazz, the lyrics all have one origin: The Oxford Book Of English Verse.

An indie duo Ching-wen Cheng - singer/songwriter and guitarist, Krzysztof Zimmermann - composer and arranger playing accordion, zither, glockenspiel, synth and many others. 

Ching-wen from Taiwan and Krzysztof from Poland, first met in Göteborg in 2010 and started playing music together. 

Yellowbrenda has been playing at various venues in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Germany, Japan and Taiwan (e.g. Dirty Records in Gothenburg, Sweden, Retro Cafe in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kuka Bar in Turki, Finland, The Wall in Taipei, Taiwan), at music festivals (e.g. Helsingborg Festival in Sweden, Bermuda Container Festival in Helsinki in Finland, Misietupodoba Art Festival in Poland). 

In 2014 released an EP "Song with no words" which had a release streaming living room concert in Helsingborg in Sweden. Songs from the EP are used as a soundtrack in a documentary by Taiwanese director Geng-Yu Wang. 

During 2014-2017, Yellowbrenda was active in Germany, playing in different venues, festivals in Düsseldorf, Münster and Dortmund. In 2017 Spring, Yellowbrenda has released 'EP 3' and toured in Kyoto and Osaka in Japan.

Since 2019 Yellowbrenda is based in Malmö Sweden. In winter 2020 started "Little things matter" session streaming online on Sunday afternoon to ease winter-corona blue and share the warmth to the world.

Tengger Cavalry are known for their unique combination of the Central Asian musical tradition and heavy metal. In 2015 they made headlines by selling out Carnegie Hall.
