Earthy, physical rhythms meet experimental sonics on SonarMix 037, which moves from hyperlocal strains of baile funk to hyperreal techno. Galician artist Akazie channels "anger, tenderness, closeness and distance" on a recording made " at a time of great global anger and impotence."

Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle aka Lamina is a french artist based in Brussels. She has a music ambient project under the name of Lamina in which she creates organic soundscapes mixing field recordings and synthesizers. She just released a new album on Mappa (Sueños Acuáticos) and her first vinyl will be out soon on Twin System. She also has a plastic practice where she creates organic and immersive sound installation.
