TW PODCAST 133 - Victoria Engel 

Victoria Engel, one of the most prominent figures in the Latin American electronic music scene, with a sound that blends Techno, Minimal, and Electro, she has left a lasting impression on clubs and festivals across Europe and Latin America. She is currently preparing to release a new EP on
a renowned international label.

Raised in a family of visual artists, she developed a deep sensitivity to music and art. Her musical influences span post-punk, EBM, new wave, ambient techno, and industrial, all of which have profoundly
shaped her unique style. In 2012, she began studying music production and started crafting her own sound, drawing inspiration from iconic labels like Tresor, Clone, Ostgut Ton, Basic Channel, and Metroplex. Since then, she has been performing at Crobar, where she is now a prominent figure.
After establishing herself in the Buenos Aires scene, Victoria embarked on her European journey, she took part in the Street Parade, and in Switzerland performed at renowned clubs such as Supermarket,
Elysia, Folklor, followed by shows in Italy, Belgium, Turkey, and Lebanon. In 2017, she released her first EP, Cortes Amarillos, on 12" vinyl through the Parisian label RA+RE Records.

Back in Argentina, Victoria solidified her position as a key figure in South American techno. She played at iconic venues such as Mandarine Park, toured nationally, and performed at leading clubs throughout
South America.

In 2022, her seven-hour sets at Under Club and Crobar were widely praised. That same year, she performed at Rock in Rio and launched her label 444 SERIES, which has garnered international support and featured releases from acclaimed artists such as Flug and Jonas Kopp. During 2023 and 2024, she expanded her presence in Mexico, performing at venues like EDC Mexico City, Bar Américas in Guadalajara, as well as shows in Tulum and Morelia. In Argentina, she also performed at La Estación and Cosquín Rock festival.
2025 marked her return to Europe as a fully established international artist, bringing her music to key stages like Free Your Mind in Amsterdam, Human and HÖR in Berlin, and Input in Barcelona, further cementing her place in the global circuit.

Currently, Victoria Engel is focused on her upcoming EP, with high expectations from both the public and the music press. With an unmistakable sonic identity, a strong connection to her audience, and unwavering dedication to her craft, Victoria continues to shape the present and future of Latin Techno.

TDDE (Third Dimension Dance Encounter) began when Pan-Pot accidentally spun a record backward at exactly 3:33 AM, tearing a rift through space-time and summoning a dancefloor from the fourth dimension. Out poured creatures made of soundwaves and strobe-light dust, who insisted on co-producing the track using zero-gravity turntables and vibes compressed into crystal form. Every drop in the song corresponded to a collapse in physical law-basslines folding gravity, hi-hats opening portals, synths bending causality into grooves. At the climax, time briefly reversed, and the studio became a sentient disco ball that whispered the final mix into their minds. 

TDDE drops August 28th, 2025 on all platforms-wear something interdimensional and bring your best atoms to the floor.

Stuttgart’s own, Chris Hirose & HOURS, are back with a big one. After their stellar ‘Fragments’ EP debut last year, the two return with three hard hitting cuts of wicked dance floor debauchery on their ‘Fragrance’ EP. From start to finish the EP is an ingenious example of combining a minimal aesthetic with powerful sounds.
‘Patchouli’ begins the campaign as a gigantic groove lays the foundation for a sinister lead to twist and turn through rolling hats, resulting in a moment of absolute mayhem. Using the same token approach as before yet relying more on the aspect of building tension, the two take ‘Lavender’ to the extreme as a never ending groove locks the perspective while a few perfectly timed sonic roars take front stage making the most of their limited use. Finalizing the EP is ‘Encens’, where the duo leaves the epic climax for last as exquisite harmonies float deep in the background of an otherwise intense and pulse pounding expedition.
