Many Reasons are back on Amazing Records with the first of a series of exclusive EPs on the label: going deep into Techno mode, the guys here deliver two fine examples of contemporary underground music, keeping up with their more experimental and harder side. Title track Cloudy kicks off with an atmospheric intro and flows heavy on low frequencies. Its obsessively acidic and brooding synth line veers into subliminal territory thanks to its upwards spiraling and frequency shiftings crawling through the whole composition. Second cut Utopia is a long journey into a dark tunnel, with quirky percussion patterns and spooky samples that welcome an unrelenting and tough melody during the break, spanning the entire stereo panorama and slinking all over the place.

<p>It&#8217;s a threefold attack from DJ Jock, as he unleashes the &#8220;What You Say&#8221; EP. The driving title track clearly sets the mood as diva vocals intertwine with menacing electronics and tough, futuristic chords. The aptly-titled &#8220;Memories&#8221; employs retro synth progressions over a rumbling rhythm section which leads perfectly to the closing &#8220;Haunted&#8221;, where we are introduced to tense atmospherics and a claustrophobic vibe, while hypnotic synthesis is laced between the grinding drums.</p>

This September, Christian Smith will release his next full artist album titled ‘Input-Output’ consisting of 11 original productions once again displaying his prominence within the realms of underground music. Each track embodies Christian’s message of creating authentic techno, with powerful percussion and melodic basslines echoing out throughout the entirety of the album.

DEAS comes back to Second State with his brand new ‘Red Source’ EP following the extremely well received ‘Velocity’EP earlier this year. In true DEAS fashion he delivers four dance floor burners of high pace, abrasive yet euphoric Techno that will turn any rave into a moment of full fledge mayhem.
Diving in head first, ‘Red Source’ has the “pedal to the metal” where brisk percussion lays the ground work for sonic bleeps and eery vocals reminiscent of an excursion into deep space travel. ‘Face To Face’ follows suit with the same approach and concept yet relies more heavily on the drums to do the heavy lifting. Maintaining the pace and sticking to his signature tools, DEAS takes his sound palette and switches out the programming of expected sounds creating a surprisingly cool cut with ‘Second Signal’. Finalizing the EP, ‘Poison’ saves the ethereal and haunting sonics for last where eery harmonies hover over cinematic aural sparkles and an undeniably infectious groove emanating into an absolutely gorgeous yet chilling composition ideal for the more emotional Techno moments.

Borderline syndrome is a personality disorder that doctors classify as a very serious psychiatric condition. People with borderline find it difficult to control their often intense emotions. They suffer from violent emotional outbursts and mood swings that significantly affect their everyday lives, the lives of their fellow human beings as well as all interpersonal relationships. The feelings and thoughts of borderline patients can change from one minute to the next on the slightest occasion. Typical of the borderline syndrome are emotional instability, impulsivity, inner tension and a distorted self-image. The reasons are often traumatic situations such as divorce, rape or other profound experiences.

In a relationship, this often leads to so-called "on-off" relationships. The borderline partners often unconsciously reflect the longings of their partner. They can be incredibly affectionate and fulfilling, but the next moment they split up or worse cheatting on their partner. If you do not reflect this, it can be a very depressing and frustrating cycle. I dedicate this release to all people who suffer as well as their relatives and partners.

Originally from Italy but currently UK based, Anthony Castaldo is the latest artist to join the Intec roster, and he comes to the label following previous releases on imprints such as Unrilis, Respekt Recordings and AnalyticTrail.

Alongside many solo tracks, Anthony Castaldo has also collaborated with artists such as Luigi Madonna, Markantonio, Roberto Capuano have put him firmly on the map. He is constantly evolving, ever on the hunt for new, unique sounds to add to his productions, charactized by their melodies and atmospheric sounds.

Popular with many of the taste making DJs of the worlds techno scene, one of his tracks was supported by Richie Hawtin in nearly all of his gigs for numerous months, and that is just one of his many noteworthy accomplishments.

Kalt that features Raniero opens the EP with a stripped back sound and dark atmosphere that leads towards the main breakdown where the eerie vocal spoken in German is unleashed. The captivating spoken work combined with the menacing urgency of the lead synth give this hard hitting cut an ominous mood brimming with tension.

The rattle of mechanical hi-hats over a thundering bassline sets the scene for Phase Of Love which unfolds with brooding intensity. Haunting melody synths and rubbery textures fuse with the creepy vocal drive until the sweeping pads take hold after the main break. Building in momentum, this forceful track commands dance floor respect and admiration.

Closing the three tack EP is Strange Things that takes an understated approach in comparison to the previous offerings on this release, but it still packs a serious punch with its hard-hitting percussion and subtle acid squelches that sit behind the modulating lead synth. Intricate and full of drama, this track has a subtle yet effective style.
