Part of the new wave of Parisian techno producers, KRYST is one of those artists who loves to experiment with different styles and create hybrids between existing genres, blurring the lines between rave, mental, acid and industrial atmospheres. He recently launched an acid alias, Parallel Reflection, in order to try his hand at the now-legendary TB 303. 
His recent releases include EPs on Animal Holocaust’s label Messe Noire Records, Raven Sigh and Taro Records, while releases on Kolkoz Records and Variance are planned for the next few months.

The hypnotic thrust of the opening, title track on JSPR’s Mainframe Boogie EP introduces some of the hardest sounds we’ve heard to date from the Rotterdam based producer.

"Mainframe Boogie" is a thumping, warehouse-ready cut that sounds tailor-made for Second State. “Blossom” dials back the aggression slightly, utilizing bleepy synths and pealing, high-pitched pads to temper a pounding backdrop. JSPR moves into darker terrain on “Parasite”, a track filled with all the paranoia and dread that the title inspires. Unsettling keys through the mid-section see tension levels rise further on this moody, pulsing track. “Fire” might be the highest energy track on the release. Whipping synths, blaring sirens and arpeggiating keys come together in a broody, storming cut to close out the EP.

After a string of successful releases on Pig & Dan’s Elevate label and with an impressive pedigree that includes a release on Richie Hawtin’s M-nus, Pan-Pot are delighted to welcome JSPR into the Second State fold.

In 2020, an unexplainable crisis suddenly overwhelmed our planet. Life changed rapidly and each human being was brutally condemned to isolation. The deleterious consequences of this crisis appeared rapidly and plunged humanity into an unprecedented depressive feeling.
 
Summa, i.e. two artists with boundless creativity in search of freedom, took advantage of this situation to create an original microcosm named DOME. This half-sphere of energy provides the most audacious listeners with a preserved area where they can feel unexposed to the sad reality of the world.
 
Their emissaries 2088, i.e. Central Rodeo and David Armada, were entrusted with the task of transmitting the information on this new life space through an enchanting and hope-raising musical experience.

"Follow Me" is the second release to be published by Tragedie, the brand new label created by German-duo Teenage Mutants. On this EP the German producer stays true to their development effectiveness principles, which are intertwines the sounds of Melodic and cavernous Deep with the muscles of Techno music. As usual, late night driving tunes at an infectious speed with crisp percussion adding bite. They have a unique ability to genre-blend while maintaining a signature sound. trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the EP?

Teenage Mutants: To tell the truth, nothing specific. It just shows the sounds and style we really are into at this very moment. After 7 years of releasing music from deep to tech house, from melodic techno to peak time techno – we had all chances to explore our music. At the moment we focus only on techno. In this particular release, same with the previous “What We Think” along Giorgia Angiuli, you will feel a mix between techno and melodic parts. (...)

Belgian duo @joyhauser are perfectionists, and it shows. Their releases aren’t sent out into the universe until they’re just right, and the Think People EP is a fulsome explosion of powerhouse techno, crafted with meticulous care. 

The title track is a barnstormer loaded with everything you need to ignite a warehouse: pumping kicks, synth blasts mimicking smoke machines, and huge bassy blurts that cut through the mix like an oncoming train. “Molly” doesn’t let up where that let off. Rattling percussion and haunting synths are the precursor to a cheeky voiceover that confirms exactly which “molly” they’re talking about. Lashes of acid heighten the energy, creating a trance-like state that endures for the duration. @michaelkleinberlin’s remix of “Think People”, meanwhile, bears the German producer’s trademark energy. Ravey synths peal over the top of a delicious thump, snatched vox and an incessant shuffling beat, trading the bite of the original for something slightly less dark.
