Frankfurt born and Berlin based Michael Klein returns to Pan-Pot’s Second State for his next EP on the label. Following on from 2020’s big hits ‘Der Sturm Kommt’ and ‘Hoisin’ the ‘No Mercy’ EP builds from an incredibly productive year for the BLK DRP label boss.

‘No Mercy’ opens proceedings with a subdued synth subtle kick and concentrated snare hits. A bellowing kick drum then follows while a 303 cuts through and creates a dark twisted undertone for the listener. Snare drums and claps each add an element of texture that ties everything together and any let off or respite is short lived before diving back in head first to the sonic storm.‘

Joker Smile’ is up next. Keeping with the tone of the record so far a heavily weighted acidic lead orchestrates a foreboding atmosphere from the get-go. The furious acid notes swirl in and out before blistering hi-hats and snares are infused. Rapid percussion builds a sense of adrenaline and restlessness pushing the energy higher while an ever-present kick drum slams over and over leaving the power of the 303 to take full effect.

Bringing things to a close on the EP is ‘Sticky’ where Michael shows us his ability to build melody and synths seamlessly into heavy and powerful techno tracks. A rhythmic plucking synth runs throughout this finisher that builds and plummets into itself. Jolting claps and hi-hats are paired together raising the intensity. Distorted vocal samples ring out in the distance adding to the malicious dark nature of the track. These twisted samples become more and more entangled drawing you in deeper until the end.

Michael once again shows that his abilities in the studio make him a force to be reckoned with – and his newest release blasts speakers with no mercy.

The @Mordisco_Official DJ and production duo return to Canadian label @My-Favorite-Robot-Records for a stellar new single with quality remixes from Sascha Funke and Javi Redondo.

Angel and Hugo hail from Grenada in the south of Spain and first came together in 2011. They craft mid-tempo house, disco and techno that makes a lasting impression thanks to its opulent bass sounds, synth melodies and hypnotic percussion. They also run and are residents at their own Mordisco party as well as playing around the rest of Europe and releasing on labels like My Favorite Robot’s MFR Red Series, Paper Recordings and Midnight Riot Records.

Superb opener ‘Nocta’  has dub disco flavours embellished with slick synth work and a real sense of cosmic serenity. It’s an elongated cut that really takes you on an adventure. Whilst, @SaschaFunkeOfficial the master of warm, deep sounds is in fine form as he flips it into a mellifluous and glowing, retro tinged disco house track with rich synth layers.

I was extremely honored to be featured on the legendary Essential Mix show this summer...  When I was in college, my teacher used to play us Essential Mixes in class, and on the 20th anniversary of the show,  Pete Tong was hosting James Zabiela and Sasha at the Warehouse Project in Manchester. I was the first one in the queue and the last one to leave the club! I will never forget that night. This year I had the honor of meeting Pete Tong at IMS Ibiza, and I think you can imagine how overwhelming it was to be invited to record a set for the show.  Here is my Essential Mix. Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late nineties, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV.
In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests.
