It’s been too long since we last saw The Reason Y grace Second State with an original, but the wait is over as TRY returns with an absolutely stellar charge of four brand new burners and a banging remix by Joel Mull on his Dimensions EP.
‘Amplify’ kicks things off without wasting a single moment where an infectious swirl of resonant synthesis twists between chants of ‘amplify’, while intense percussion lays the solid groundwork for a wild ride into the flashing strobe lights. The title track ‘Dimensions’ follows with the same intensity yet displays a beautiful balance of hard and lush as shimmering sonics are delicately balanced with tough drums making for an unforgettable moment not soon forgotten. ‘Beautiful Bounce’ is next, and with a similar approach to the title track TRY weaves an intricate web of contrasting emotions with heavy drums and gorgeous harmonics before ‘Without A Trace’ wraps up the originals in high pace fashion utilizing all the elements of a massive rave anthem. As if that wasn’t enough, the legend Joel Mull steps up and delivers an immaculate reimagining of ‘Dimensions’ taking each element of the original and twisting it in a powerful and unique way only he can pull off. We couldn’t be happier to have TRY back into the fold. Now it’s time to transcend your dimensions of time and space.

Heads down, ravers! Boom Merchant is back and he's brought the heat. His latest offering, "Solo," drops on August 15, 2025, via Red Occultus, and it's a techno tempest ready to rattle any warehouse walls. This isn't just a track—it's a sonic adventure.

Boom Merchant, originally from the Emerald Isle but now residing in Mexico, has been injecting clubs across the globe with his unique techno stylings. His journey from the lush greens of Ireland to headline DJ spots worldwide has been nothing short of epic. With releases on labels like T78's Autektone Dark and his own Tribal Pulse, Boom Merchant is no stranger to the scene. This is his second storming release with Red Occultus, and it's a banger.

Boom Merchant - Solo [Red Occultus]

Indira has enlisted the trusted services of Dubfire, Marco Faraone and Flug for the killer 6th instalment of the labels creative DUO release series, out on Thursday the 14th August.

At the pinnacle of his games for 30 years, Dubfire needs little introduction. A Grammy winner and maker of classics such as ‘Emissions’ and ‘Ribcage’, the SCI+TEC label founder, and other half of the legendary duo ‘Deep Dish’, Dubfire will make his ARTCORE debut with his long-time collaborator Flug, before joining Indira for her residency at Hï Ibiza on 5TH September joining Cera Khin and Gray Cosmo.

Dubfire and Flug partner up on ‘In Trance’ to deliver a pacy, chugging composition fraught with cosmic tension throughout. A brewing concoction of galactic undertones and driving grooves, the track embodies the heady trance spirit present in much of ARTCORE’s back catalogue whilst still retaining the darker styles of its creators.

Prolific producer Marco Faraone is credited with over 50 releases on a host of key electronic record labels such as Rekids, Drumcode as well as his own UNCAGE imprint. However, his contribution to the forthcoming DUO release will be the first outing for the Tuscan-born house and techno maestro on Indira’s ARTCORE. His opening track, ‘Killa’ stalks into existence in cold and calculated fashion. An undeniable creeper, it features a dark low-end that methodically develops amidst a sparce soundscape of marching drum patterns, churning bass chords and simmering pad effects.

Marco’s second track on the EP titled ‘Artcore Sessions’, pays homage to the label’s ethos. Employing the vocal talents of H.A.N whose sonorous vocals bob along upon swells of shadowy synth lines, choppy percussive drive and kick heavy breakdowns.

Flug first appeared on ARTCORE in 2024 with his track ‘Racing Cars’. That same year, the Argentine released Magma EP with Dubfire marking the pair’s first collaboration and precursor to their debut DUO release. In August, he also made his debut for Indira’s residency at Hï Ibiza playing alongside Ben Klock, Clara Cuvé, and Nuke.

The second collab track with Dubfire, which also closes out this talent heavy EP comes in the form of ‘Weightless’. They both fuse tensely wound rhythms, off-kilter chords and serene pad effects to concoct a breezy, gravity defying composition that showcases both producer’s ability to craft nuanced electronic music to rival that of the more pummelling.
