Kaiserdisco are back on Drumcode with 3 brand new tracks including the heavy hitting ‘Black Light’, that has been championed by Adam Beyer in recent sets. ‘Black Light’ uses old school stabs that weave up and down to create a roller coaster of a ride. ‘SQ 80’ and ‘Manley’ are groovy numbers that really show Kaiserdisco’s versatility.

Next up on the gold standard tech house imprint that is Roush, comes label boss himself, Hector Couto. On the Parental Advisory EP, the influential Spaniard has readied four cuts of to-the-point club music that cannot fail to make its mark. 

Hector is one of the most respected artists around with a truly global allure for his brand of house music. He has released on labels such as Defected, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations and Get Physical and is no stranger to the finest DJ booths in the world, from Ministry of Sound to Amnesia Ibiza. As such any new music from him warrants deserved excitement. 

Proving that once more is excellent opener 'Like This,' a wobbly tech house tune that is full of electronic funk. It has great vocals, swollen bass and siren like synths that really get under your skin and demand you dance. Title track 'Parental Advisory' is a real party starter with wild vocals and jittery drums. Off kilter synth stabs and fat bass all make it a hugely fun and characterful tune that is sure to stand out in any set. 

Moving on to the essential 'Old Roots', this one comes laden with retro breakbeats and a dusty sense of groove. Air horns and crisp hi hats all get stitched into the loopy groove and pull you deeper and deeper in with each rotation. Lastly, 'Bubble Gum' comes with a snaking bassline that is tough and rugged. Classic 909 pops and clicks pepper the groove, as do plenty of sweet vocal samples and the result is one hell of a tech tune that sounds like little else. 

This is another masterclass in effective, emotive dance music and marks another fine release for both label and artist. The vinyl elease will be accompanied by a digital version featuring an exclusive remix from Santé.

Pablo Inzunza, is a young Chilean DJ & Producer, and is owner of the two Chilean labels Tempura Records and Aires Music. He has released music on 8 BIT, Deeperfect, Go Deeva and Monique Speciale, and has gained DJ support from Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Richie Hawtin,Marco Carola, Steve Lawler and Laurent Garnier.

Blinded is a dubby techno gem, plenty of pace and energy, as its percussion paves the way for some solid dance floor action. Bleeps and tones add depth as we subtly build as this gem swaggers along with an air of a a timeless feel about it.

Swedish techno fave Par Hammar delivers not one, but two remixes. Having released music on such esteemed labels as AVOTRE and Danse Club, he was the ideal remixer for this release. Lets start with his Wednesday Dubb Remix. Rollin beats, and utilising the dubbiness from the original, this tasty touch up oozes of class, and is an intelligent rework for the cooler dance floors.

Par Hammars Saturday Dubb Remix is a punchier workout, taking the energy levels up, boosting the bassline and creating lots of space for the track to develop in your own mind. Dubbiness with attitude. 

The second Original from Pablo is Drumatic. This is a tougher and druggier gem, moody and layered with lots of low end and a subtle acid line that sounds along with this deep techno banger. 

And rounding things off nicely on this package, is Clio, who's productions for Drumcode, Truesoul, Electric Ballroom and Snatch! have been thrusting this Berlin based producer to the top of his game. Retaining the moodiness of the original, but altering the vibe with solid beats and drawn out effects that create tension and adds a shoulder swaying jackin' edge to proceedings.

Euer Käpt’n https://soundcloud.com/rolandson sitzt ja lieber auf dem Oberdeck, lauscht den Wellen, schaut den Wolken nach, raucht sein Pfeifchen und nippt hin und wieder an seinem Gin - sprich, solange über ihm noch Luft zum atmen ist, ist alles gut. So unter Wasser, das ist ja nicht so sein Ding, doch irgendwie führt uns die 80ste Reise genau dorthin. Nachdem wir mit Daensen den Morgen am Strand verlebten, meinte doch überraschenderweise Leichtmatrose https://soundcloud.com/matthias-kunze, ein Binnenschiffer (aus Halle (Saale) mit Waterkant-Erfahrung (lebt aktuell in Hamburg), das er ein U-Boot gemietet hat und uns unter Wasser gerne ein Ständchen spielen möchte. Die Crew dann gleich so »Aye, das fetzt!«, na und euer Käpt’n, ja der kann ja da nicht vor der crew »Nein.« sagen - wie sehe das denn aus. Also, alle hoppla hopp rein in dieses kleine Ding und los .. das es dabei chaotisch wird, das dürfte ja klar sein - zu wenig Gin, zu viele Männer, zu viel Wasser ober unter neben uns UND kein Platz zum tanzen. Da blieb dann nur der Blick aus dem Bullauge und so zog sie vorbei, die verzaubernde Unterwasserwelt - teils schön aber eben auch unheimlich anzusehen. Denn, Hand hoch, wer von euch hat schonmal ein 12-äugiges Seepferdchen und eine winkende Koralle gesehen? - richtig, keinEr von euch. Trotz der Aufregung versetzte uns Matthias klanglich in Ekstase, bis dann die Sehnsucht nach frischer Luft und bei dem ein oder anderen Seebären das Heimweh einsetzte - oder eher der Busen der Natur nach ihnen rief. Wie auch immer, wir teilen gerne und somit gibt es für euch jetzt die gute Stunde Unterwassermusik, welche treffend »odyssey on a submarine« getauft worden war - erinnert aber irgendwie auch immer an so vier Pilzköppe .. mhhhhh …

The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.

The dynamic Berlin duo, better known as The Reason Y, return to Second State with a brand new EP entitled 'Density'. After last years debut, the duo have been working tirelessly to deliver a massive three tracker and they have managed to do just that as well as locking in heavy hitter Nick Curly for a stellar remix to guarantee a monumental record. Opening things up is the title track 'Density' and it certainly delivers the trademark TRY sound with crisp, racing hi-hats and low rumbling bass. As signals of bold sirens resonate through fields of sonic indulgence, the duo commandeer a journey into cosmic spaces. Followed by 'Sunwaves' which is the duo's ballad to the Romanian festival they first played last summer.  Laced with grooving low end and sun drenched atmospherics, 'Sunwaves' is the aural illustration of exactly what you would expect from one of the world's finest festivals where the water meets the dance floor on an exotic Romanian beach. On the flip side, the duo take a step back and drop the heady down-tempo number 'Whisper' where percussive grooves fill the blank silent palette as washes of mischievous pads create the feeling of being lost deep in the jungle while a whispering voice guides the listener towards some vacant hope of finding a native estate. To wrap things up, we turn to the one and only Nick Curly for his twist on ‘Whisper’, and in true Curly fashion he delivers a bomb. Swirling tones are draped over an infectiously loopy groove as surges of white noise grow, constantly taking the levels of energy to new heights while the original vocal is brought to the front to ensure a trippy trek into the grandiose areas of late nights.
