What a legend. Here after Soundcloud queued it after a six-hour Sean Johnston mix. I only got to see Andrew once in NYC as I live in the US. Listened to every NTS broadcast religiously and they were a highlight of my day. Miss you guv'nor!

For someone who wasn't born there, Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann might be the most Detroit guy to ever exist.  Moving to the motor city from LA at only three weeks old, he has never "truly" left since. His music channels the musical legacy of Black Detroit – transplanted Delta blues, gospel, Motown and Fortune, Stevie Wonder, the Electrifying Mojo and the Belleville Three – with an unassailable verve. His dust-spackled opus "Silentintroduction" has hummed continously in the background of house music since its release in 1997, inspiring generations of producers.

Opened up the small room (which was still quite big) for Cartel Kingsday. Started with zero people on the floor, steadily worked our way out of the depths into the higher atmospheres. 

This is a CDJ set. I had fun. Cycling to a gig in the sun is nice. Mixing tracks for 1-2min is fun as well and not really possible without looping. Maybe I’ll play more CDJ sets in the future?? who knows🔊
