The Polish born artist’s ear for dark grooves and emotive electro has enabled ona:v to carve out a path as a DJ in Edinburgh whilst working as a scientist by day. Founder of the female and non-binary collective EPiKA, the sisu resident curates a bi-monthly party called CiRCLE, where she books female and non-binary names from the harder side of electronic music.

Pate Jaar, a DJ from Tbilisi, founder of DifferentSound. Known for his diverse techno style, he leads DifferentSound Records and the Concrete Tbilisi label. Beyond music releases, DifferentSound also manages artists, runs a creative agency, and organizes events, playing a key role in shaping the local and international techno scene.

This time he explores the slower, deeper side of techno — presenting a one-hour mix for Spira Records that drifts through atmospheres and meditative grooves. Enjoy this ride!

Tresor Records announces the first-ever reissue of Drexciya’s 'Fusion Flats' 12” vinyl, including remixes from Detroit’s Octave One, Kaotic Spatial Rhythms and 043 Chaos. 

Originally released in the wake of Drexciya’s seminal 1999 Tresor debut album 'Neptune’s Lair', this release marks its long-awaited return and first appearance on digital platforms. The remastered edition contains the original extended version of Fusion Flats and features new artwork by Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison, whose reimagined covers continue to shape the Drexciya reissue series. 

25 years later, Fusion Flats returns to the constellation of Drexciya’s Tresor works, connecting their debut full-length to further explorations that continue to inspire generations.

Yuddy Ash joins as the seventy-first guest of the Set the Mood series. A producer and DJ based in Kyoto, Japan, his sound crafts a percussive, ritualistic take on techno, blending mysterious rhythms with subtle tension to evoke deep emotion. Driven by a profound connection to sound, his sets unfold as immersive journeys, where resonant frequencies align with the body’s pulse.

For Yuddy Ash, a perfect opening set is about creating space. That space serves as a doorway from the everyday to the extraordinary.

When shaping this mix, he envisioned a modest underground club, not too large, on a Friday night slowly turning into Saturday. It is a one-hour slot that begins exactly at midnight.

To him, techno is an aesthetic of repetition. He aims to create an inviting sense of openness, drawing people in with groove without overwhelming them too soon.

In his view, the DJ’s presence ideally remains anonymous, as the true protagonist is the music itself and the space it creates. Across the full sixty minutes, the set unfolds like a single track, guiding listeners into this shared space. It hints at the night’s direction, builds tension gradually, shapes the atmosphere, and always leaves room for curiosity.

About Tresor Berlin
At midnight, on March 13th 1991, a basement door opened at Leipziger Strasse 126, Berlin. Through this door, many passed, on their way to defining new terrains in electronic music. There they found a dance floor in the vaults of a closed-down department store, with a unique sound bound to dense fog, building night after night a history that was also a vision of the future.

This history has seen in Jeff Mills’ first sets on three turntables, Underground Resistance's first live appearances in Europe, grandiose Tresor Park parties, to various chapters of the Loveparade with Sven Väth in the 90s and since then countless generation-spanning parties. These moments represent the highlights of infinite personal clubbing experiences. It is the manifestation of the Berlin spirit, emerging from its considerable strife. This history is not without its complications - from temporary closure by the authorities and several raids in the early years to closure and demolition of the old location in 2005. What followed was years of wandering in exile and, finally, resurrection in the new home in Kraftwerk Berlin.

These stories, conversations and shared experiences within our walls forge a resilience that drives towards a shared ideal, the Tresor sound: community, resistance, and the world to come. This was observed in the newly re-unified German youth, who danced and celebrated together from the club’s inception, and into the present day through ongoing community work in Detroit.

To those that have danced before, and to those that will dance in the future: the light at the end of the long Tresor tunnel is a signal. A flicker amidst the fog. This is our future. This is our place.

A monthly journey into the deeper realms of techno with guest mixes from all corners of the world. Curated by label owner, Mike Derer.

The enigmatic Myles Sergé is a low-flying techno producer, hard-working label head, and uncompromising DJ — though he prefers the term “reclusive perfectionist.”

Myles sound strips techno down to its rawest form. Bypassing the melodic classicism of Detroit, Sergé pushes toward a stark, European-leaning minimalism, all while channeling a machine-funk energy that defines both his DJ sets and productions.

A regular guest at Berlin’s Tresor, Sergé has also performed at Berghain, Griessmuehle, and ://about blank, alongside his residency at Steevio’s Freerotation Festival in Wales. His transatlantic presence bridges the US underground with Europe’s most revered techno institutions.

Through his own labels — (MS) and Calder City Development Corp (CCDC) — Sergé has built a platform for uncompromising techno. His productions have also appeared on respected imprints including Ilian Tape, Thema Recordings, and Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic.

Beyond the club, Sergé co-hosts (MS) LIVE with D-KNOX on YouTube, alongside long-time collaborator and Sonic-Mind Records frontman Donnell Knox, where the two explore the deeper layers of techno culture.

Always in the shadows but never far from the forefront, Myles Sergé remains a rare figure in modern techno: elusive, relentless, and fiercely dedicated to the craft.

Christian Scalas aka KRYSS HYPNOWAWE was born in 1973 in Sardinia. He falls in love with music at the age of 15 years, starting to frequent a local radio station. The first gigs and then the residence at the k2 club and for 3 years at the Sueno de Ibiza club, one of the most important techno club in Italy. Later entry into the Sound of Mix roaster, which led him to play in many European events such as goliath, infinity, dreamland, lake and street parade and many European clubs. Slowly the sound changes up to the hypnotic and dark techno, never too fast, with a deep groove and of course hypnotic atmospheres. Kryss Hypnowave is a very active producer between vinyl and digital releases: Planet rhythm, Edit Select, Seance, Subsist, Att series, No way, Black, Circular limited, Traumshallplatten, with a special remixes by Claudio Prc, Edit Select, Akob and many more.
Besides Kryss Hypnowave carries on his very personal ambient project like Christian Scalas, with 2 albums released on the Japanese anay and the monobass project with his friend DJ Datch. Sound is his work, mix and master engineer, sound designer and teacher of sound synthesis.
