A hundred consecutive weeks. This is the history we created together as Secret Society. We defied all the laws of status quo, we ignored all the nay-sayers, and went with what felt right. We started a mid-week celebration of music, friends, and conscious partying. When we said: “a night out doesn’t have to be followed by a day in”, we never thought it will resonate with our community so well. You proved that our theory was right, had countless packed evenings at PJH, even followed us on our all nighters at The Rivoli and One Loft, and never failed to impress new faces with the welcoming friendliness and unparalleled good vibes of our community. Everything that happens is due to our connectedness through music and no matter where this adventure takes us, we can promise you that these will never change. Without further ado, let’s celebrate our 100th episode in the spirit of these principles. Embrace diversity, radiate happiness, and include everyone in your celebration of life with dance, smiles and mindfulness. Here’s to a hundred more! Thank you, Secret Society!

Rakontur, aka Nabil Zakaria, has had his roots firmly grounded in the electronic music scene for the past 17 years. From digging through crates in London’s best record shops, playing extended afterhours sets in London, to attending the best UK clubs and festivals…you can say that’s where it all began.

Once settled in Toronto, he began a weekly residency in a small unique setting and played at private parties. Seeing an opportunity to bring a unique vibe to the Toronto scene, he began organizing summer/daytime music events called SummerDaze and bigger productions under the Bespoke.Experience umbrella. 

His love for all genres of house music infiltrated his parties and after some years of establishing himself in the City, he’s excited to sink his teeth back into his DJ passion. A ‘Rakontur’ is a storyteller, and as with all music, what he unfolds in his sets, aims to do just that. He sets the tone for an experience where one can release and escape to the groovy and melodic sounds.

Hailing from Brazil, Hauy has since moved to Toronto as a music producer with a singular style. His work has recently been played at some of the world's premiere festivals and is supported by artists like Joris Voorn, Renato Ratier and Lee Burridge who signed Hauy's latest EP on Get Weird. His progressive and melodic sounds add mystery to the groove and make for something full of heart that also works for your mind and body.

Pavel's a very familiar face in our scene. 

A persistent patron of the underground, turned DJ at many prime dance floors in the city, he’s recognized for his positive energy and style in person and in the booth.

Growing his night life roots as Pasha, his major reputation comes from the Night Vision project with partner-in-crime Room 303. Already on deck for BPM and SXMusic festival, you’ll be hearing a lot from them in 2016.

Alex Breeze is very excited to be back for his third appearance on sessions. A lot has happened since he was last here including a bunch of new and exciting gigs, the start of his company Avid Toronto and the launch of his ‘As We Proceed’ podcast. Alex and his partners started Avid Toronto back in August with their first party at Cabal and since then they have had many successful parties and have built a loyal following that is growing everyday.  The future is looking bright with some big announcements coming in the following weeks and months as Alex looks to grow and expand his brand and company.

This is Peter's first appearance at SSS. He has DJ’d on the Toronto Circuit since 2009 he has played with many of SSS’s past guests and Toronto heavyweights. Recently back from his 2016 tour of the Balkans Peter has been involved in a broad band of music projects in Toronto and has expressed that there are very exciting things to come to Electronic music and Toronto’s music community in 2017.

Luis F is no stranger to the house community and has played with many respected international and local DJs for some of Toronto's best clubs. He definitively brings a great sense of crowd control to any party. Having heavy deep roots, he could also get Tec and dirty and fill in with the drums. One thing is for sure, everyone is dancing to his beat. Taking his drive to the studio, Luis is on his way to releasing some new production in 2017 and is excited to bring the vibe to his DJ sets.

JYMBO is a personal twist for “Jumbo” jet (Boeing 747) world most recognizable aircraft. JYMBO became fascinated with jets as a child when he received a toy jumbo jet for his 10th birthday as a gift from his father.JYMBO is his favorite alias because it  describes his sets as a journey, very similar to a journey that you would have when you are flying.

JYMBO’s passion for electronic music started during his early teen years. 
Growing up, he kept his interest to himself being a bedroom dj and never revealed it since non of his Friends listened to electronic music and always picked on him for listening to it.It was until 2015 that he was motivated to get into the industry and show the world what he has been keeping a secret……

Most recently, Valerie is working with Wesley Marsh from Kill em With Colour, learning the ins and outs of producing and hoping to release her first track by summer 2018.
