Grauzone Podcast 020 – Impulse

Our next guest for the grauzone podcast is Amsterdam based @impulsetechno. 
His latest record "meeting the tribe" was just released on Berlins BCCO and he is part of the event series and music platform @antidoteamsterdam. 
He draws his inspiration partly from the environment of other talented artists as well as from various events that take place in and around amsterdam. For this mix he kept a focus on minimalistic patterns in the beginning to more eerie and pulsating sounds at the end.

Grauzone Podcast 020 – Impulse

@whatmeansrovin is a young DJ and producer based in Berlin. He discovered his passion for techno in the local scene of his hometown Munich. His style evolved over the years and found its way to multilayered groove techno. He likes to build up atmospheric mixes with repetitive kick drums, hard groove and 90/00th elements. His mixes are pulsating and they seem to have a life of their own. The many layers keep the mix exciting with many more details to discover at each listen.

For this one the 3 Decks have been on the go full time and we could feel how dynamic this music piece has come to life. For our seventh episode of Secta Sessions we have the super young Lysander from the Ruhr-Area in Germany. At only 21 years old, he released his first EP (Fatal Fusion Vol 01) which got supported by big names from the scene (DJ Heartstring , JKS and many others).Definitely a young talent to watch out! His sound is driven by percussive rhythms, uplifting elements, and tribal infused productions that keep the ambience high and the listener in a moving state.

For him the dance floor is more than a space—it's his sanctuary where he transcends trauma and draws strength from its all-embracing inclusivity, a spirit he channels into his art and beliefs. For our twenty first episode of Secta Sessions we are hosting AMIR YAR, an Iranian DJ and Producer based in Dubai / Tbilisi. Since 2016 he's an active member of the techno scene and he's mainly focused on rhythmic and experimental sounds.

During his career in Georgia, he became very close to the Georgian underground culture by performing his sets at venues such as the legendary KHIDI club, TES club, Cafe-Gallery, BUDE Kutaisi and other venues that have increased his motivation to push for what he loves.

As a co-founder of No More Noise, Mohamad Kafarsoussa is dedicated to nurturing a community that embraces experimental and avant-garde electronic music. His presence is further solidified through numerous performances as well as collaborations at known European clubs, such as Tresor and Radion.

Active since 2008 at a very young age, he's known for blending eclectic sounds, between minimal house, electro and techno. He runs his own event series Jack, and curates Flanger, a YouTube channel featuring interviews with electronic music artists.
