I wrote this tune for my mother who transitioned from this reality 2 years ago. She was always such a massive supporter of my creative process, allowing me the space to dive deep into the world of sound, and in turn  into the world of my own psyche. Ever since childhood, she guided me to follow my passions to the fullest degree and I'm so grateful for that. 
I hope you enjoy this journey into the depths of my heart, with love and reverence.

Ancient Connections

I grew up playing drums.   I always leaned towards hip hop and metal music as a child and I like dance music now, but really i like music of all kinds.  Id say my music leans more to beats than dance music because Rap is my root.  I began playing with mixing software over 10 years ago and writing lyrics almost 20 year ago.  I never really consider myself much of a performer, but I do like making art.  I also work within a pirate radio community throughout Colorado and love to play underground and/or local tunes on our stations.  Much love!

   Musically, I tend to incorporate a lot of drum styles even in the melodies, and always find myself leaning towards, what I feel, are the darker elements in sound.  The mixture of that makes for fun and sometimes awkward music.  Lyrically, I do not tend to share a lot for lack of good vocal recording equipment and for the fact that it is my soul.  I don't write lyrics for anyone usually but myself and so bringing that to the forefront takes time.  Not to say I dont have some more ridiculous songs, but even those are a part of my soul.  I think any inner looking and in depth lyricist can understand.  Anyway, enjoy.  Share. love. hate. do or do not appreciate.  I just know I have to put my music somewhere.  Part of me wont let me hide it, so here it is.   Finally, I appreciate almost all music and those that know me locally, know I do love my community.  If we all take the extra time to love our communities, we can achieve a much greater standard of life and respect for ourselves, and each other.  Much love to you all in your own journeys.
