We said the vocal hook brought to mind Divine’s seminal proto-houser ‘Native Love’, and we suspect our guest may have felt the same, as there are definitely traces of the trademark early 80s Bobby O production style in this peak time workout.
 
This sizzling slice of 21st century mesmeric electro-disco further showcases our man from Istanbul’s wide-ranging talents, as displayed not only on his Selador outing ‘Montroze’ las year, but also on recent releases for the likes of Innervisions, Kompakt and Get Physical.

it all began way back in the early 90s on a cold gloomy day, while listening to a 12'' Funky House record by the one and only legendary pioneer, Junior Jack I had dug through that day at the local record store(I think it was a white label back then and I had no clue who the record was written by at the the time!) and then the feeling took over, never left and kept evolving into a whole a lot in the magikal Electronica spectrum...uplifting & emotional Trance, Tech Trance, Progressive Trance, Club Trance, Progressive House, Electro House, House...this is all after my Funkmaster Flex era, but that's another story for another gloomy busy day....

These are some of my vintage and current DJ mixes from my 25+ years on the frontline trenches and recordings I've done from the "backstage" : : : ''bunker" sessions - just a cool spot (an expressive, creative sanctuary)I was lucky enough to hammer some wax and put together a few mixes where Black Sabbath and The Offspring used to jam in their early days. A true underground mecca, located right next to an old military base, a bunker where smoke machines, laser lights, heavy hitting line-arrays (this was before breaking over many circuits and over 20-30 pairs of speakers :/) and floor shaking//spine tingling bottoms lead the night and guide you into those blissful oceanic sunrises...creating some of the most blissful memories for me! Eventually, ended up owning and running the place, which was a nightmare on itself dealing with all the bands and artists!! 😅
Something about a small space dark room with a solid pounding sound system and blinding strobe lights....

Underground genres: Techno, Dub Techno, Dub House, Deep Techno, Melodic Techno, Tech House, Electronica, House, Deep house, Deep Tech,  Classic Progressive House, Deep Melodic, Hypnotic, Ambient, Deep Tech House, Indie dance/nu disco...doesn’t matter what genre it is, if it rocks, it rocks!!!

DJ  ( Electronic Dance Music )
Born in New Orleans, a city known for its rich culture in music. From historical Jazz and Bands behind the Mardi Gras scene, playing the snare drum was a natural fit. Marching in the parades and rambling on to those beats, watching everyone dance as we provided the sounds to make them move. A Spanish (Canary Islands) French heritage from my mother and Latino (Honduras) from my father.
Having an attraction to the electronic music scene, influenced by artist such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and many more sparked a new interest and desire to learn more about this style .
The Electronic Dance Scene hits New Orleans in the 1990’s, starting in small rented warehouses and then moving into the larger clubs. 
DJ is the new aspiration. From once playing the drums in the school band, to now spinning vinyl and mixing beats behind those Technics Turntables.
Playing alongside friends from local bars and clubs, to the largest events in the city at “The State Palace Theater”, also by many being categorized as the “Rave Scene”.
This gives the opportunity to play in front of many and share our creativity with electronic music. From the beginning known as “Dreamchild” spinning mostly Trance records, to now getting behind the digital dj systems into many other genres of dance music. A man of Faith incorporating inspirational scriptures, and uplifting messages throughout my mix sessions. Huge fan in the beautiful game of Futbol, especially Barcelona! Working hard and being grateful every day for what matters most, Family & Friends, God Bless.
