Exclusive Amberoon 'Tulu'

Amberom, namely Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan, have been around for years even when they hadn't before but that just counts for the trio's musical project – Amberoom. After four releases on Josh Wink's renowned label Ovum, one on André Hommen's These Eyes and a track, 'Kastell'  on Innervisions' latest Secret Weapons 11, Amberoom release their first EP of 2019 on TAU, run by Hamburg based artist duo Adana Twins. The three tracker 'Jazire', including two original tracks and an Isoleé remix, marks the label's fourth release and picks up musically on previous releases as the EP is a smooth symbiosis of combining percussive and melodic elements. 'Tulu', the second original take by Amberoom on the EP, probably highlights the aforementioned features a bit more. Melodious chords are drum-driven accompanied and add an organic touch to the track that in the progress is enriched with heart-warming vocals. 'Tulu' might be the soulful forward-going and forward-thought melodic melancholic tune that works at any place and any time.

Amberoon's EP 'Jazire' will be released on TAU March 1st, 2019.

This includes remastered versions of classic tracks like Dish Out Bum’s “Gak Trak” Chiapet’s “Tick Tock,” 2 Smokin’ Barrels’ “Basses Loaded,” and Timeline’s “Clockwork Orange,” as well as modern cuts like Victor Ruiz’s “Rollercoaster,” ANNA’s “Momentum,” Nicole Moudaber’s seminal remix of Alcatraz’s “Give Me Luv”, and Loco & Jam and Frankyeffe’s “Splitting Minds.” To spice things up, we’ve included three brand new remixes from Moonwalk, label regular Olivier Giacomotto, and Dubspeeka. Innellea return to Afterlife with another EP of unique dancefloor creations.

The duo first appeared on Afterlife late in 2018 with the striking sounds of Vigilans. They’re now back with four more tracks brimming with their signature, organic percussion and ever-original touch.

‘The White Blanket’ is hauntingly beautiful, with an eerie vocal and piercing synth line at its core. The title track is equally epic, balancing dark and bright, uplifting elements to a euphoric effect. ‘Visionquest’ and ‘We Thrive’ continue the theme with two singular and inspired takes on the Afterlife sound.

The first EP on PUNKT PUNKT KOMMA STRICH is called "Initium" and has been created by the founders of the Crew Solique, Avant and Vintash. Creating a musical journey from the beginning to the end the Crew takes the listener on an emotional ride.

Solique start the journey by delivering the first track called Venice. The track is characterized by their well-known deep and driving groove, combined with melancholic synths, which are untypical for Solique but create an unprecedented tension.

Avant continues the journey with the second track Engrave. The sound of Avant is defined by deep basses, combined with melodic textures. The memorable baseline in combination with the cutting lead sound result in an engraving energy discharge.

The end of the journey is marked by the distinctive sound of Vintash. Well known for his progressive synths, Vintash combines a deep bass with distorted analog synth sounds, creating a lean but yet powerful track, completing the first journey.

From the label’s inception, the Showcase collections have been a pivotal part of the Selador release schedule, an opportunity to bring you more new music by a plethora of insanely talented artists. A quick glance at some of the names to have graced previous editions on their way to dancefloor domination (eg Anii, Marc DePulse, Dee Montero, Biesmans, EdOne, Third Son, Robbie Akbal) shows that these collections always achieve that rare feat of marrying quality & quantity.

As 2021 dawns, we bring you The Twelfth Night – and such is the sheer volume of quality tunes we had to select from, we will be celebrating hitting the dozen mark with a double header, featuring 12 choice cuts split over two jam-packed EPs. Nurse, the vaccine right now if you please!

The first instalment gives a taste of the truly global nature of electronic music, with breakout stars from numerous scenes worldwide at the controls. 

At the helm is our very own Dave Seaman, who kicks off the new year with ‘Buzzfuzzle’, a dirty jackin’ house throbber 2021 style, aided by a brain-melting mid-track breakdown.

Next up, Italian duo Ivan Masa and Mattia Pompeo, who already have a string of respected labels and DJ supporters on their CVs, drop their latest offering ‘Tape’ which deftly fuses pulsating moodiness with euphoric interludes. 

Back to the UK, James Harcourt, no stranger to starring for Team Seaman, having previously released on Audio Therapy in the ‘00s, brings us ‘Litoloko’. It’s seven and a half minutes of bouncy, wonky, ethereal madness and we love it. 

We then head over to Israel for prolific DJ & promoter Omer Bar to provide the fourth piece in the jigsaw. ‘Dynamic Cube’ is a seriously taut slice of electronic sophistication.

Next up, a transcontinental meeting of minds as Egyptian born, Vienna based Darksidevinyl teams up with Argentina’s Tomy Wahl for the brooding builder that is ‘Yuande’. 

And last but by no means least, we finish on a high courtesy of London based producer Nichols who provides a rousing finale in the form of ‘Mood Frequency’.
