Bio: Toronto-based DJ & Producer, Nick Taylor, brings soul to the music. Inspired by the sounds of funk, jazz, disco, and classic house, his sets vary across styles, always infused with that underlying soul and groove. He’s played at intimate spaces locally, and at Burning Man on several occasions, most recently opening up for Black Loops at Hush Hush. When he’s behind the decks he truly lets loose.

Welcome to Label’s Cable, the new Apparel Music mix series dedicated to the labels. On each episode we will share a new, unreleased mix, put together by a different label owner exclusively for Label’s Cable.

We’re thrilled to present you to the first episode of our brand new mix series Label’s Cable, with Dave Platts, founder of Moment Cinetique, a deep-jazzy-disco-house label hailing from Sheffield, that has been releasing music since 2018.
Dave is a friend and we’re glad to host him on Label’s Cable first ever chapter with his great versatility as a DJ -playing a vast range of genres from House to Disco, Leftfield- and his deep knowledge of electronic music.

Collaboration between two artists, Outterspace1 and The Tonica, is a deep dive into the textures of contemporary minimal sound. The core of the release is Outterspace1's signature hypnotic groove, built on precise beats, a deep bassline, and atmospheric pads. The key element of "Not Alone" is Ostrovskaya's ethereal vocals. Her detached, melancholic delivery doesn't dominate, but rather weaves into the overall soundscape, adding narrative depth. This isn't music for loud parties.
