A professional DJ since the 70’s, Paul has become an international club legend with his RETRO HOUSE nights.

Since those early days in the UK, Paul has built up a reputation as the dj who is passionate about his music - knowing exactly what the people want and getting the dance floor buzzing. 

His philosophy to keep close to his audience has been an unequivocal success. Involved in the creation of the dance outfit Loveland in the early 90’s achieving four top thirty hits in the nationals and dance music record of the year in 1994 with the seminal "Let the music lift you up". Loveland also remixed and reproduced over 60 tracks for other artists from D Ream, Barbara Tucker, D Mob to Lulu.

Recently the newly formed Rox & Taylor received huge critical acclaim for the remix of Red Hot Chilli peppers ‘ Otherside’. 

Having released numerous Retro compilation albums, his residency in Pacha Ibiza sparked the release of the Pacha Classics album; a huge success on a worldwide scale and the biggest selling album in Ibiza. 

Much has been written about this enigma of a man who developed from a teen DJ on the decks in Burnley to an internationally recognised icon.

Utah Saints have been making music, dj’ing and playing gigs around the globe since the birth of House music.

The world renowned duo have released 9 Top 40 UK hits, 4 of which hit the Top 10, and sold over 2 million records worldwide (equivalent to 800m+ streams).
Precariously walking the tightrope between genres and also between the underground and the mainstream, Utah Saints roots are in electronic dance music, having met in a club in Leeds at the beginning of the rave movement in the UK and establishing themselves as pioneers of sampling in dance music.
Alongside this success, they set up and promoted award winning and legendary club nights The Gallery and SugarBeatClub and have recorded and presented shows for BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Ministry of Sound. 
Utah Saints are still very much at the top of their game and are out dj’ing regularly each month as well as curating festival stages and putting on an eclectic range of nights. They have played alongside everyone from DJ Zinc to Justice, Zane Lowe to A-Trak, Friendly Fires to Boys Noize and U2 to Public Enemy. They have djed at over 3000 events, from underground clubs to festival mainstages.

When the pioneering DJs aren’t playing at clubs and festivals in various parts of the world, they can be found in the studio working hard on their own material and production as well as remixing other artists as varied as Bring Me The Horizon and Girls Aloud.  As well as running a successful record label, the duo have now added film scores, soundtracks, video game music and production music to their ever-expanding portfolio and are planning to release new music as Utah Saints.
Recent accolades include being listed in Rolling Stone in 2022 as one of the 200 Greatest Dance Songs of All Time with Something Good. 

The remix, Something Good 08, having been the10th most streamed track of 2008 has recently been awarded Gold status in the UK.

Semi-D is a Remixer / Producer/ Writer, hailing from Yorkshire, UK,
 With over 25 years worth of dedication to the music scene he is not a new comer and has made his mark all over the globe,
 
It began in '99 when his work was picked up by DMC the worlds most renowned DJ Only Label (also owners of Stress Records), notorious for helping pave the way for some of the worlds most talented dance music producers including Dave Seaman and Steve Anderson (Brothers In Rhythm) Michael Gray & Jon Pearn (Full Intention / Bodyrox), James Wiltshire (Freemasons) and Paul Dakeyne (Tinman) to name a few!
 Semi-D has created many more remixes for DMC since which has resulted in many worldwide releases!
 
In 2006 Semi-D joined forces with Brighton based label Born To Dance Records and got straight to work remixing a track for the labels own head honcho titled 'Gav McCall - I'm Alright', the track was released the same year and gained support from some of the industrys most well respected DJ's smashing dancefloors worldwide!
 At This point the demand for remixes came in thick and fast and Semi-D was approached by another Brighton based label 'Mass Recordings' 2008 saw his remix of Filth & Splendours 'Language' released on the label, this remix had an electro twist and was a slightly different direction for Semi-D showing he is no one trick pony 

2010 saw the release of Semi-D's Club Smash 'Hollow Of Your Heart' featuring the sexy sublime vocals of 'Neve' (Toolroom) the track caused dancefloor damage worldwide with its infectious funky bassline and mind blowing piano hook, 'Hollow Of Your Heart' had an impressive remix package including remixes from Karl G & Jamesie, Hayley Parsons, Cristian Marin and Artie Flex, it recieved support from many of the worlds elite DJs gaining a lot of radio and club play!
 
During 2010 Semi-D completed many remixes for artists such as 'Studiopunks feat Soraya (I Don't Want Nobody), System F (Cry), Karl J & Jamesie (Never Should), Karl G & Jamesie (Gamemaster) Franco Amato & Diego Donati ft Dani Vasile - (Get Up & Go) & Harry Hard (Disco Dancer)
 
Semi-D signed to '23rd Precinct Music' and during 2011 his track 'The Journey' featuring Sharon Fehlberg was released on 23rd Precincts own label 'House Of 23rd', it gained major support and was made a featured track on trackitdown. 
2011 also saw Semi-D collaborate with Karl G & Jamesie with the track 'Compromise' feat the vocals of Amanda O'Riordan (the wife of DJ Judge Jules), known best for her classic trance anthems 'It's My Turn' & 'Can't Keep Me Silent' both released under the name 'Angelic'!

Having been working the turntables for over 25 years , Jay has entertained crowds around the world in literally hundreds of different venues and held residencies and guested at some the worlds most famous clubs,festivals and venues including Space,Eden,Es Paradis, El Divino Ibiza,MOS london , MOS tours , Home Sydney , Turnmills, Pacha , PamsHouse UK , Harmony , HD Festival , RTTS Festival , Secret Garden Party Fest , The Big Reunion festival and many more!
Whether it be playing infront of thousands at festivals across europe or to just a few hundred at intimate venues, Jay feels at ease as long as the music and crowd are as one, together loving life and breathing music!

Not Just content with playing house, Jay has many alter egos playing mashup mixes and multi-genre sets at festivals across Europe, the most prominent figure being the Rawkus Noise! guise.


A veteran DJ of some 20 years, Jay got into beats from a very young age, influenced by the soul, funk and disco records of his fathers record collection, Jay knew that his destiny was in music.

After purchasing his first decks aged 12, Jay practised every waking hour to hone his skills that would take him on a journey he could only have dreamed of!

As a forward thinking DJ, Jay started playing Hardcore at raves aged just 14 and studied his idols Masters At Work, Carl Cox , DJ Ratty and Derrick Carter to give him the edge on other DJs around him and was soon noticed as a promising young DJ; with a big career ahead of him.

As his musical tastes matured, Jay got into US House and garage eventually taking him into the skippy beats of then, the start of the UK garage scene. After many free gigs and a lot of hard graft, Jay quickly gained residencies throughout the East of England and was considered one of the hottest DJs on this scene, playing for many huge promotions such as Garage Nation, Inspiration, karisma, Bon Bon, Pamshouse and many radio stations; Jay hosted his own show on Flex FM( East of England) for 5 years as well as guesting on other radio stations. 
Jay quickly gained many residencies and guested up and down the country at clubs including M.O.S London, Heaven , Turnmills, Bar Rhumba, Aquarium, Honey Club Brighton, Matrix Reading, Hollywood Ipswich Uea Norwich,Essex Uni,Tidy Weekenders, Ibiza BIG Reunion Weekenders and more. He has also become in demand across Europe and played for MOS tours in Switzerland,Mallorca as well as dates in Slovenia,Croatia,Wales, Ireland, Ibiza, Cyprus, Australia, Thailand,Laos and the USA! Jay was asked back to be the weekly resident at Space on the terrace for Good Fridays where he rubbed shoulders with some of his favourite DJ's. This is where he started his legendary 5 deck sets which blew away clubbers and promoters alike, and led to gigs across Europe and a residency for Garlands at Eden. Jay enjoyed a weekly main room and funky room slot, where his "Classics" sets packed the room out to capacity every week. Ibiza summer 2005 saw Jay back behind the scenes running Tidy Vs Extreme Euphoria @ Es Paradis for it's launch season where he played opening sets in the main room with tough House, but it was his quirky colourful promotion " PocoDisco" upstairs in The Gallery which had the dancefloors jammed with his mix of Funky , Balearic and Electro House. Followed by after parties at Blue Impact ( Extasis) becoming the place to loon out at after the clubs all kicked out!
