Opening with ‘Arkeron’ The duo pick up from where they left off on their recent Showcrates offering, ‘Atunga’. Tough drums and rubbery bass framework a delicate arps and icy blasts of pad. A perfect heads down groover. 

‘Soular’ walks a slightly deeper path. Emotional and hypnotic, vocal adlibs and impactful sonics warmly greet you and entice you out onto the floor. A masterpiece of sound design that showcases the duo’s incredible connection. 

Finally, ‘Nassaukade’ hammers home the deepness with a groovy, low slung vibe for the early mornings just before sunrise. Rising slowly the synths are full of eastern promise and hopefulness. I fine ending to an outstanding collection of tracks.

Offshore is a song by British electronic dance music artist Chicane. It was released as his debut single from the album Far from the Maddening Crowds on 2 December 1996.The song reached #5 in the United States on Billboards Hot Dance Club Songs chart, #12 in Ireland and #14 in the United Kingdom.
Offshore" was re-released on 1 September 1997 as "Offshore '97". A bootleg was created by Australian DJ Anthony Pappa who made a mashup of "Offshore (Disco Citizens Mix)" with the vocals from the Power Circle song "A Little Love, a Little Life". Originally a bootleg (mixed by Dave Seaman on Renaissance: The Mix Collection Part 4) it was turned into an official release, credited to "Chicane with Power Circle".
