Once the odd-duck of LA's late 80's rock underground, Lyford has more recently been heard creating electronic environments, having finally overdosed on Eno’s full catalog. Currently on a personal quest to reconcile the trippy synthedelia of Jean-Jacques Perry with pre-techno Kraftwerk.

In an alternate reality, Lyford cycles between guitar, keyboard, and vox duties in Psyattica, a "post-punk prog-pop psychedelic power trio" dedicated to fusing punk sensibilities with progressive chaotic time signatures and jazzy chromatic harmonics. Or not.

I've been making music with computers, synths and samplers since the early 90's. As well as hoping for people to enjoy my albums and whatever else I create, I am looking for soundtrack work - especially chiptune styled stuff. I am also involved in 2D level design work and have a full campaign that ships with the indie platformer VVVVVV by Terry Cavanagh, sitting alongsides the likes of contributors such as Notch of Minecraft fame. I LOVE designing game levels and virtual worlds.
