@keinkontrast is a project of passion out of love for the beat. The focus of his musical compositions is on a deep, hypnotic sound space, surrounded by a fascinating, experimentally created atmosphere that offers space for our mind. Like music and art, the love of nature is a common language that can overcome borders. In music but also in nature there are energies, frequencies, resonances and vibrations. This creates feelings that guide us, and quite individually. It is difficult to understand or put into words. It is a process of the subconscious. Through his mix, he wants to offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world in which you briefly lose space and time to be simple and briefly experience the feeling of lightheartedness.

Sensient’s music is deep, intelligent, and progressive. It absorbs the influence of many musical styles (minimal, techno, breaks, glitch, jazz fusion). He has released eight solo albums and countless compilation tracks on respected labels. He has also remixed and collaborated with numerous heavyweights of the scene, including Freedom Fighters,  Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger and Symbolic. 

In 2003, Sensient created Zenon Records, which has now developed into one of the world’s most respected underground electronic labels. Zenon has formed a musical movement that has heavily influenced the worldwide alternative festival scene. Sensient has played multiple times at the biggest international festivals, including Modem, Boom, Ozora, Fusion, Noisily, Universo Parallelo and many more.

In recent times, Sensient has been concentrating on his role as head honcho and tastemaker for Zenon Records. The prime selector for all Zenon Records output brings these selection skills to his DJ sets. He is known for his 3-hour-plus journey DJ sets that effortlessly move from the most slabbing of psychedelic techno into the freshest organic bush prog. The Sensient DJ set is guaranteed to deliver the absolute cutting-edge of the Zenon Records sound!
