Musician, songwriter, pianist and guitarist Edu Martins, was born in Colatina, state of Espirito Santo (ES), Brazil, in July 7, 1962, son of Antônio Adelino Alves Ribeiro, a businessman from Pernambuco and Alba Martins da Costa Ribeiro, a teacher, actress, singer, pianist and guitarist from Rio Grande do Norte (RN). The youngest of five brothers, he was only a child when his family moved to Vitoria (ES) and sometime later to Vila Velha, another city in Espírito Santo. Under the guidance of his mother Edu started to study music, first with the piano and as a teenager, he also showed interest in the guitar, it was when he entered the Conservatory of Music. Over the years, he started playing in venues in the states of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro where beside the flutist Claudio Galvão, he performed for 12 years at “Reis e Magos”, a studio, restaurant and show house in Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. Edu took part in Music Festivals, clinics and workshops where he had classes with some very well-known musicians and professors, developing arefined and tasteful authorial work through lots of studies and researches. He floated through different kinds of music, such as Choro, Brazilian Tango, Samba, Bossa Nova, Maxixe, Frevo, Choro Maxixe, Marcha, Valsa, Embolada, Jazz, Blues, Song Samba, Choro Samba, Jazz Valsa and Congo. His work, consisting of 150 edited songs, written for several instruments, they are well elaborated for enhancing musical elements like beautiful melodies, well-crafted harmonies and above all respecting the simple, the true and valorizing their roots. In 2012 Edu was invited by a friend, Alexandre Araújo, a musician, producer and professor in Rio de Janeiro, mandolinist, coordinator and mastermind of FAMES Choro workshop, to edit his first songbook, “FAMES Choro Workshop presents Edu Martins” by FAMES (Faculdade de Música do Espírito Santo – “Music College of Espírito Santo State”) publishing house. It was launched on February 04, 2013 in Vitória (ES), Brazil in partnership with the Government of state of Espírito Santo, and College & Studio Namosca audioroom with participation of students, professors and guests. His songbook contains 12 songs, with transcribed sheet music in three registers: Treble Clef, for instruments in C major, Bb major and Eb major, with a repertory focused in four Brazilian musical genre: Choro, Brazilian Tango, Samba e Bossa Nova. It also contains photos, texts about the genres and biographies of music personalities, it is a 12 tracks CD with and without melody so that the musician can listen and play along.




Nacido en Lima-Perú, 1988; Julio Bartra creció escuchando música como cualquier limeño, en su infancia aprendió a tocar piano, guitarra, charango y cajón, en los 90tas paso su adolescencia escuchando géneros populares como latín, salsa, hip-hop y reggaetón, fueron  tiempos en los que se escuchaba Komodo de Mauro Picotto, probablemente el primer track de música electrónica que escucho.
Luego descubrió la música house a través de la influencia  de un disco de EDM que cuidaba celosamente un tío, fue entonces que sin haber ido nunca a una fiesta rave comenzó a escuchar música electrónica por su propia cuenta.   
Él siempre ha estado fascinado por una amplia gama de estilos musicales, en sus primeros años escuchando música electrónica fue influenciado por los maestros Tiesto, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Markus Schulz, John Digweed, Federico Epis, Booka Shade, Paul Van Dyk entre otros en donde fue encontrando poco a poco su estilo musical. 
Hoy en día está añadiendo una línea de bajo mucho más fuerte y dándole un tono más cíclico a su música, con una fusión de muchas melodías tech, deep y progressive house que caracterizan a sus fiestas electrónicas. 
Julio Bartra es un  DJ-Remixer que está hace delirar a toda la escena electrónica, haciendo bailar a personas de toda el mundo.
Ha tocado en clubes peruanos nocturnos como Carpe Diem, DeVoletto, Elemental Bar y ha sido residente en Xcess Larcomar e Industria Bar. A compartido escenario con DJs internacionales como SERGIO PARRADO (ESP), SAUL NIETO (ESP), MANDIC (SER), MICHAEL CASTNER (USA), IVAN SOUL (COL), HIRO (Glasgow), RIVA STAR (REINO UNIDO), JD DLIGTH (Italia), ADDAME COLECTIVA (Italia), DANO DEEP (RUMANIA) Y la mayoría de DJ's nacionales mas representativos.
En sus inicios colaboró en la programación semanal en  (http://www.limaxpress.com) la primera emisora de música electrónica online de Lima-Perú.

A finales del 2012 tuvo una enfermedad que lo margino de escena rave todo el 2013; sin embargo lográndose recuperar, a finales de ese año mezclo en un festival electrónico asistiendo con muletas y cerró el año tocando en el fin de la Semana Universitaria en la Universidad de Lima, junto a Mar de copas y bareto. 
Promocionando su particular estilo de música, luego de tener una larga jornada tocando en Industria Bar, empezó a viajar a provincias como Tarapoto (Yurac yana Lounge), Piura (Playa Bonita – Máncora) y Huanuco (Asia Disco Club) haciendo delirar a todo el Perú con nuevos sonidos y su fluidez en armonías modernas.
Actualmente está concentrado tocando en eventos privados, haciendo bailar y disfrutar de la vida a quienes tiene la oportunidad de escucharlo en vivo.
