Senso boss Oliver Huntemann first released the original version of Magnet in 2011 as a part of his Paranoia LP on Ideal Audio. A few years later, Brazil’s leading underground techno light Victor Ruiz reworked the track into an unofficial bootleg, which since had been rinsed by Ruiz, Huntemann and a slew of top DJs around the world. Such was its effect on the dance-floor, it’s now finally receiving an official release via Senso in a slightly updated version. The track itself is a lesson in tough, driving techno - unrelenting in its mission, yet infused with layers of subtlety and deeply funky beeps, squelches and effects. It’s a machine-funk monster, and it’s easy to see why the bootleg clocked up over 225,000 listens on Soundcloud.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Senso Sounds drop a major release from techno heavyweight Dubfire and label boss Oliver Huntemann. Reuniting the partnership that has seen a string of seminal releases over the years in the form of their 'Elements' series, 'Humano' is the 2nd part of a continuation of this series - more weapons of grade dance-floor material from the high profile duo. Later on this year their partnership will be summarized in their 'Restrospec- tivo' album.
Former Deep Dish man Dubfire’s uncanny knowledge of how to create epic dance- floor moments is in full effect, combined with Huntemann’s precision tool production techniques on the original version of the title track. The result is a super tough, tight and incalculably driving slice of techno goodness that will ignite floors worldwide. The rest of the EP manages to maintain the pressure - with a set of sick remixes from Victor Ruiz, Hatzler and Shaded.
Ruiz, the Brazilian techno pioneer adds another level of fire to the original, tweaking and refining the track into a damager that pushes everything to 11 and hits home with every play. Hatzler, the Hamburg based German DJ/producer chooses a different direction - emphasizing more of the space in the original. Rinsing the tension to the next level, look out for the epic middle section break down. The whole package is primed to destroy clubs far and wide - techno at its most effective. Shaded’s Summer Skin remix also delivers a tightly wound interpretation, with a bubbling bass line and nervous, excited groove providing the fuel for an extended dancefloor excursion.

For "Come With Me", James Blvck wanted a very mysterious vibe to the track. Like you just met someone on a dark, foggy dancefloor and you spend the rest of the night dancing with them not knowing what might come next. All the while, they are asking you to just trust them and be present in the moment.
The track itself is full of dark, atmospheric elements, driven by a booming rolling bassline and a punchy, hard hitting kick. The track reaches its peak in the breakdown before diving into a drop driven by the bassline and moody female vocal.

Axis Of Time is a brand new project and presents four slices of tough and funky techno for Senso Sounds. Thunderbird kicks things off - a pounding, relentless beat with some deceptively tricky hi-hats sets the tone, while the buzzing, rolling bass adds the drama. Things get dirtier and more unhinged from there. Stronger keeps the vibe rolling, a thick, pulsing groove snakes its way through the track before some acidic synths and fat slabs of noise take the whole thing up a notch. Hologram also hits hard, sharing a similar sound palette as Thunderbird, but with a deeper vibe. Last up, Roots fires up the turbos and heads for the sun - a streamlined piece of sci-fi techno that never lets up. Powerful stuff.

Through space and time like-minded souls connect by the charge of sound. Separate individuals with decades of wandering across the electronic universe, bound together, following the axis of techno colours, willing to express and share long suppressed emotions without any limitations. Following the axis of time anything is possible.
