Today we’re hosting the crew behind the YT-channel 192 uploads, called 192 GmbH, with the first release of their new label, called 192 Rec. In case you know those reptilians only because of their Youtube activities, I’ll tell you that they are also very nice DJs – they were in my city this summer, I had to miss the party, but that was one of those rare examples when I heard ONLY good stuff about it.

Their first entry will be Cesare Muraca – one of those Italians I’ve been following very carefully for the last years. All that started with his B1 on the first release of These Tasty Records (this guy loves to start labels, eh?), after that he got another appearance there, also the remix at SINM Music should be ready soon. SlapFunk Records strikes again with a solo EP by none other than Huerta. While having released a wide variety of music with a strong own identity, it’s fair to say that he fully incorporated the SlapFunk vision on this one. Even though all 5 tracks have a different character, they all share the same energetic beats specially designed for the dancefloor. This reflection is clearly the core of the artwork made by Firpo a.k.a. Freshcore. On the other hand, the graphic design by Studio Airport truly does justice to the the work of both Huerta and Firpo it deserves. It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Ying and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.  

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
