There is the story of the uneducated Jewish boy who wanted to pray but did not understand any Hebrew, so he began reciting the only Hebrew he knew: the Aleph-Bet. One day, as he was davening the letters, a rabbi came to him and asked him why he prayed in this manner.  The little boy replied, “The Holy One, blessed be He, knows my heart. I give Him all the letters, and He puts the words together!”

this is the set liveset I played on the 4d system in amsterdam during my residency in April 2014. 
Equipment used: MFB Tanzbär, Clavia Nordrack2, TeenageEngineering OP-1, Arturia Microbrute and AbletonLive as master clock, sampler and midi sequencer. 

Everything on the 4D sound was tweaked by hand in real-time, as well as the whole arrangement. I preprogrammed some chords and grooves on my machines though. 

The 4D System is an advanced spatial sound system and the set is binaural (also called dummy head) recorded - in order to get an idea of how it sounded you need to use your headphones.

На платівці один з небагатьох збережених зразків української інструментальної музики XVII cт. - "Козацький танець". Рукопис датований 1640 р., в якому він записаний буквеною нотацією, зберігається в Братиславі.
"Дергунець" - це один із перших відомих нам українських танців в перекладі для клавіру. Був надрукований в часописі "Музыкальные увесиления" за 1774 рік.
В 1790 р. в "Журнале для дам" надрукована фортепіанна транскрипція українського танцю "Казачок", який в кінці XVII ст. користувався великою популярністю як бальний танець.
Бортнянський Д. (1751-1825) - є автор перших вітчизняних класичних фортепіанних сонат. Із восьми написаних ним в 80-ті роки XVIII ст. до нас дійшли тільки три.

In addition to being a clarinetist and producer I’m also a PhD researcher studying how SoundCloud shapes the ways electronic musicians learn how to produce. Using a range of methods, my work investigates the social and musical practices of musicians online and offline to understand the connections between social media and how electronic producers, and in particular beat makers, learn how to express themselves musically as both individuals and as part of a wide scene.
