Co-founder of Manchester’s infamous Rhythm Theory parties, A.Morgan lands his inaugural mix for RYC, showcasing both the breadth of his style and clinicality of his mixing skillset. Fresh off the release of his five-tracker, ‘Hyper Tension’, Morgan onboards the series with two hours of no-nonsense floor-destroying wares, stripped-down 4x4 aerobatics and epic-sized buildups. Muscular and mind-expanding, brace yourself for a set at the junction of proper hi-tech grit and heavily verbed-out grooves, merging the finest of classic 909-fuelled pound with atmospheric abandon and tape-delayed psychedelia. @philippapacho is like a musical Swiss knife: she has exactly the right tool for every occasion, from warm-ups to peak time to wonky afters. It was a long residency at Under Bron in her native Stockholm that equipped her with those skills, and since moving to Berlin, she's gone on to make her mark across Europe playing all forms of techno. Late last year, Pacho launched her own label Phorum Records as a further extension of her sound, and she also curates tracks and parties under the Positive Source banner.

This August, Pacho joins us at Amsterdamse Bos for Dekmantel 2025 but first serves up this deeply cerebral trip into Millsian techno. It's a high-speed selection of sleek and synth-laced sounds rich in narrative, be that mind-melting urgency, more dark and moody undercurrents or a sense of cosmic unknown. Utterly timeless and effortless classic, this is techno in its most futuristic form.

SHDW is the phantom moniker of Marco Bläsi, a Stuttgart native with a penchant for racing percussions and big room sounds. 2014 saw the beginning of his long-term partnership with like-minded techno dealer Obscure Shape (Luigi Urban), with whom he co-ran the party series and label spin-off From Another Mind. Ten years later and Bläsi has set out on his own journey, building on a decade-long legacy of sounds with just himself, ‘his music, decks, and a mixer’. Following on from his previous label, he founded Mutual Rytm in 2022, an outlet and creative platform focused on putting out the type of expansive techno SHDW’s come to be known for. His signature style a blend of intelligently superimposed and shuffling basslines, blink of an eye beats that elicit movement and social bonds. Unerring prime time techno, Bläsi’s path forward is looking promising, with a surge of Mutual Rytm releases and worldwide dates, the next ten years look set to further build on what he’s achieved since he started out. Showcasing the CLOSER founder’s affection for the deep, this genre-defying set from the Italian artist fused elements of fast-future techno and hypnotic psytrance into something unmistakably his own.

First shared with those in attendance last December, this set can now be brought to the world this morning.
