I Create Spooky And Uplifting Music For Spiritual Reasons

Emerging from the deserts of Phoenix, Arizona, District 13 transforms grief and loss into seismic basslines — capturing both the haunting melancholy and raw aggression that come with navigating the darker corners of the human experience. His music serves as a vessel for catharsis, a place where pain can be both confronted and celebrated. Drawing inspiration from the cinematic intensity of RL Grime, the melodic grit of Crankdat, and the anthemic energy of Marshmello, District 13 fuses emotion and power into a signature sound that resonates long after the drop hits.

Launching his project in 2018, this self-taught artist has stormed festival stages and club floors alike, performing at Gold Rush Music Festival in both 2021 and 2022, Excision Presents: Basstrack, Decadence Arizona, and Phoenix Lights. His resume also includes opening for Wooli at Rawhide, playing direct support for Flux Pavilion, HOL, and Infekt, and sharing the stage with bass heavyweights like ATLiens, Funtcase, Virtual Riot, HE$H, and Riot Ten.

His breakout track SPARTA has amassed 3.5 million streams and over 500,000 Instagram reels, cementing it as his most successful release to date. District 13’s SoundCloud flips — supported by Excision, Whipped Cream, Level Up, and Luci — have collectively drawn 250,000+ plays, further proving his ability to captivate the bass community.

Guided by his mantra, “A Kid in the Apocalypse,” District 13 believes we’re all still navigating our personal end-of-world moments, and his music offers a refuge from them. Step inside, and welcome to District 13.
