Chiptunes = WIN is a blog (https://chiptuneswin.com/) that covers most of what falls under the "video game music" umbrella.  They release compilations of chiptune music selected out of submissions sent to them.  Then, for each main comp, they get a different record label or collective to release submissions that didn't make the original + some new songs from the collaborating label's musicians.  Since DESKPOP's roots are in chiptune, we were more than happy to participate!  This compilation is an excellent showcase of what VGM has been, and where it could go. New Year Nightmare Theme - the main theme of the game D'LIRIUM, as well as the third Remix of the soundtracks from this game. In fact, the purpose of this Remix was not just to show an alternative interpretation of the main theme, but also to try to combine two versions of it - the first and the new. And, I think, in General, I did it, although towards the end of creation, this goal ceased to be the main one.

Perhaps I would say that this work was the easiest to perform. Not because it turned out bad or something, but because the author of the main theme shared the sources of the soundtrack. Many thanks to Ihor for this. Thanks to this-the Remix immediately had a certain ground, based on which I was able to create something unique. And I am happy with the result.
