Every track has its own spirit, in a kind of a 90s journey way.
The compilation is a fascinating mixture of weird cosmic and slow goa sequences to more emotional places with powerful bassdriven downtempo techno and slightly trance influenced anthems as well as distinctive tribal acid easiness with melancholic pads and epic melodies.
Furthermore it involves faster loaded minimal hypnotic synth sounds and dark UK-House with a big-beat touch to it. Raw liquid floating sharp breaks melts into rave stompers which are inhabited by sensitive living microbes vibrating jungle atmospheres.

After his recent release on the amazing label Exploited, David Body is back !!!
And he brings with him two powerful Italo House gems !

“Haunted House” is a perfect rollin’ track. As always, David proves his sense of the dancefloor with a track for the peak time. Keeping the italo vibes, he delights an uncompromising piece, dancing, efficient. Come on !

Although slightly calmer, the title “Salt Swing” still keeps a dancefloor spirit. The piece is carried by a perfect piano riff, enhanced by a beautiful Italian spirit. Smile on your lips, the party continues !

We are happy to welcome again Hoochie Coochie Papa. This time for a remix.
Clesley slow down the original track “Haunted House” and adds a more rock, darker side.

The Mexican Roswell Brothers are also back. After releasing their superb Kim Wilde edit, they deliver a cogent remix of “Salt Swing” inspired by Rock and Trance. The masked man perfectly bring a darker touch to the original.

To close the release, we are happy to welcome the Belgian duet Marching Machines.
They clearly transform “Salt Swing” into a melodic & cosmic techno banger. An acid, high & futuristic trip !

Man2.0 aka Mark Bailey, is no stranger to Paisley Dark Records. Having appeared on three previous releases in his guise of remixer, we are extremely excited and honoured to present his debut EP for the label, Red Shift.

Mark's original is a peak time melodic techno banger aimed directly at the head and the feet. No talking on the dance floor please !!!

Nein Records head honcho Tronik Youth, takes Red Shift deeper and darker with a relentless throb destined to leave a significant number of destroyed dance floors in its wake.

Again no stranger to the label, Steady State takes us on an intergalactic trip to a far off universe, bouncing from star to star whilst whistling sweet melodies back to earth.

When Disco Goes Wrong's Mindbender weighs in with a hefty slab of cosmic Italo grooviness, remaining fully focused on retaining the dance floor. Strobes and smoke at the ready !!!

Swedish artist The Machine Soul who's last release, Norra Linjen, was released here on Paisley Dark Records, has produced a totally unique take on the track with a retro breakbeat feel and old school sampled vocal and yet manages to catapult us somewhere in to the future.

One of Paisley Dark's fave producers, Mark Cooper aka Bedford Falls Players, ventures into early New Order territory with a Hooky style riff played high up the fret board and adding even more melody than would have been thought humanly possible.

Last but certainly not least is our good friends Jezebell who have produced a bouncing cosmic delight which is simply impossible not to dance to. One to get the party started whist out on the terrace enjoying the last of the sunshine.

Born in the Alps on a small house spreading between the Italian and Swiss border, Alan Strani is a transdisciplinary artist exploring music and visual arts. For his new album, he invited artists Saeko Killy, Dasha Utochka (Love Object) and French singer Tessa Martin to join him in his attempt to musically make sense of the current Zeitgeist while questioning our relation to the digital world. The result is the album carried by its homonym single Apocalypso, a wordplay suggesting that, in the face of a possible emerging Apocalypse, like Ulysse during his Odyssey, the entire world is being distracted by the charms of the Calypso nymph. The album 'Apocalypso' will be out late 2022.

Antic & Della's New Wave EP was made entirely during the pandemic and conveys the dystopian disarray of the time. Antic & Della utilised this endless time period and channelled all their energy into crafting three tracks that reflected their emotional state at the time. The tracks interweave dark atmospherics, uneasy vocals, and pulsing rhythmic elements. With a super catchy remix by the legendary Marvin & Guy and artwork from Greg Hodgson (Daniel Avery's video artist), the EP promises to capture attention across the board.
