Hey guys. Welcome back to ElectriX. I hope all of you doing alright and had a great week. This week I invited Lueking from Berlin to the show.

His sets offer a wide range of melodic and progressive house tunes with an awesome melancholic vibe and groovy rhythm. Exactly the same I like to play and listen to. He literaly lives the Berlin Sound.

Bio:
As a former part of a duo project, Lueking could already gather some experience and reputation. He can count several gigs in Berlin and also Europe-wide to his references. Among others clubs and festivals like Watergate, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, Salon zur wilden Renate, Waagenbau, Bahnwärter Thiel, Wurzelfestival, Feel Festival, just to name a few. Now he concentrates on his solo project, which he revived in 2022. 

Musically, he moves between melodic techno and progressive house, though he doesn't want to commit to either genre. His sound could be described as raw and deep but multi-faceted and melancholic. His debut release after relaunching his project was in May with Georg Arnim on the label Parquet Recordings. After that in June a single with Vincent Marlice on YION. Further productions are already in planning. A young artist to keep an eye on.

Bio:

Jahrelang hat Karl selbst zu treibendem Techno getanzt – bis er sich
entschied, die Perspektive zu wechseln und hinter das DJ-Pult zu
treten. Seitdem geht es für ihn steil bergauf! 2024 legte er sein erstes
Set für den schweizweit bekannten Podcast Aka-Tapes auf – und
direkt danach holte ihn Label Gründer Tony mit ins Team. Zusammen
kuratieren sie nun die mittlerweile weit über 300 Folgen umfassende
Sammlung elektronischer Musik mit grossem Erfolg. Mit weiteren
Podcast Veröffentlichungen auf Obenmusik, Gefangen Intrance,
Klangheimlich auf Lok und Auftritten in der ganzen Deutschschweiz,
hat Karl rasch seinen Platz in der Szene gefunden. Karl beschreibt sich
selbst als laut und lustig und so sind es auch seine Gigs. Diese
bestreitet er entweder als Solokünstler oder als Gründer seines
Labels Basskompass mit anderen DJ-Freund*innen zusammen. Sollte
er in eurer Nähe spielen, lasst euch seine verspielten, energetischen
und stimmungsvollen Gigs nicht entgehen!
