Born during the inception of SPLA/M in a small village called Pagarau Yirol East county Lakes state region South Sudan.

Life has never smiled at him as a teenager due to the long protracted civil war.

He later settled in music to find solace and decided to preach his gospel not by gun but by music. 

YB is one of the most acclaimed rappers cum singer in the music industry.

He made so many enemies down his line of duty with two albums under his belt namely "Sudanese son" which was recorded in various studios such as Ketebul productions,Still Alive records,Joe Tabula agencies and Young Nation Nation which he co founded.

His second album Rays of hope which was launched in Millennium hotel Juba along side Kenya's renown raga sensation  Redsan. 

YBeezy is currently working on his Third album 'Azumilitary' which entails his current status as a soldier.

Not only being a rapper he's an Air Traffic Controller trained at Aviation academy South Africa.

Amanie Illfated (pronounced ah-MAH-nee eel-fay-ted) is an award winning South Sudanese born international recording artist who incorporates her personal experiences growing up as a refugee in Canada to deliver powerful messages of empowerment. She has been described as the “African M.I.A.” with “a touch of Chloe Bailey”. Her music consists of thought-provoking lyrics that are mixed with dynamic R&B synths and fused with rhythmic reggae, afropop and trap inspired drums and are combined with her signature clear-toned vocals. 

She released her genre bending album ‘SATURN’ in October 2019 containing multilingual tracks like ‘The Hills’ and ‘You Will Never Know’. Her music has been played on various international radio shows including CBC’s Fresh Air and she has performed on Rogers TV for talk show 'Men 101' and on CTV Morning Regina. Amanie has been showcased and interviewed in magazines such as Canadian Musician and Prairie Dog Magazine.

Additionally, she has performed at numerous festivals such as Afrofest and Francophonie En Fête and at well known venues such as ModClub and Yonge & Dundas Square, at South Sudan Unite 2019 Minneapolis held former NBA Player Luol Deng and at Hollywood North Toronto’s 5th Annual TIFF Gala alongside Just John. She has also shared the stage with highly acclaimed artists P.Square, Dynamq, Emmanuel Jal, NOYZ and Kobo Town.

Amanie won Best R&B Artist of the Year at the 2021 South Sudan Music Awards. She has also received 2 nominations by African Entertainment Awards for Best Female Artist and Musician of the Year by South Sudanese ACE Awards.

She has worked with producers and engineers B.Morales, JT Aylward, Satnam Singh Chatha (5 Rivers Entertainment), and Caroline Akwe (LK Collective) as well as a collaboration on ‘You & Me’ with South Sudanese artist Yaba Angelosi (Assida Records). 

Amanie is currently working on her upcoming album, DIVINE, which is set to be released in spring 2022.
