Sergey: 'I came up with the idea of recording an album in 2013. I turned to Constantine Bezinovsky, a father of my good old friend Roman. Constantine is running a small recording studio not very far from Moscow and Roman is working with him as an assistant. I've known them both for about seven years. At the time I was forming my first band back in 2008 Roman was one of the first musicians to join it. He was playing in my band for about a couple of years and his father used to visit our rehearsals sometimes. He was really helpful because of being much more experienced as a musician. 

So in the summer of 2013 I came to the studio as a sort of an old friend and Constantine welcomed the opportunity of working with me. To be honest, it was a bit of surprise for me, because I didn't expect that he would be so enthusiastic about the project. In the beginning it was not so easy to get the things right, but step by step is started working out and some of our good friends came along to play on the recording. 

Most of the songs were written a few years before the recording and were played live many times, but at the studio we had the possibility of working out much more interesting and complicated arrangements, so it all sounded a bit different. I decided that it would be a great idea to publish the album abroad, so I asked Leo Kaliazine, who is a native English and Russian speaker simultaneously, to edit the lyrics. 


We worked almost every weekend for about a year and a half. I was trying to arrange the songs in the most appropriate way and Constantine along with Roman were getting the sound right. Musicians were really pleased to play on this recording and we've had lots of fun making this album. When it all was completed we were really satisfied, because it turned out even better than we had expected.'
