Colouring Outside The Lines is a personification of breaking some rules and being a child again. I focused on enjoying the process of making the music and writing the lyrics. Some concepts came to me as just cool ideas, catchy hooks that I liked and hoped people would love, whilst other songs are really honest and emotional or accounts of real experiences.

I talk about working so hard in a 9-5 job that I really need a holiday. I have an old school feel to one of my songs, perfect for added romance at weddings, that I actually wrote for my sister when she got married as well as a song focusing on equality of race and ethnicity that I wrote when there was a lot of Xenophobic violence in my country (Follow link above).
