The seemingly opposing elements merge into a cohesive whole, transporting both depth and energy equally. Sometimes pulsating and direct, other times minimalist and meticulously detailed – always with a keen sense for dramaturgy and atmosphere.
With releases on renowned labels such as Subios, Jaw Dropping Records, Radikon, Rebellion der Träumer, and ALAULA, the Leipzig-based producer and DJ has carved out a solid place in the international scene. His tracks make their way into the sets of prominent artists like Oliver Huntemann, at festivals like Fusion, and in clubs around the world. In 2023, together with his close friend Aio, he founded the label „KOSMOS Records“, focusing on high-quality sound from the realms of Melodic, Peak-Time & Psy-Tech. Their unique genre blend – which they themselves call „Space Techno“ – shapes a new sonic world that pushes boundaries and awakens previously untapped potential.

Born and based in Berlin, Lueking brings many facets to his electronic compositions. His productions have found their home on labels such as Parquet Recordings, DEEP TALES, DIT KLINGT JUT, YION Berlin and Dear Deer Dubs. His enthusiastic attitude towards experimentation, coupled with an exceptional creative vision and sophisticated design, Lueking is always on the lookout for new challenges.

Who inspired you the most on your path as an artist?

There has never been one single defining artist for me. My inspirations have always come in phases: in the beginning it was mainly Extrawelt, later Oliver Huntemann, and then artists like Adana Twins, Dahu, Toto Chiavetta, Maceo Plex, and Baime. Today I draw a lot from the sound of Raxon, John Monkman, Shall Ocin, James Harcourt, and many others. It’s always been a mix of different artists who have shaped me.

What do you do to get into a creative state?

Creativity comes naturally to me — what gets in the way sometimes is lacking distance. If I leave a production for a few weeks, I return with fresh ears and see the track in a completely new light. Routine also helps a lot: going to the studio regularly, discovering new music, new artists, and new sounds keeps me constantly inspired. Having a clear mind is equally important — I work best when I’ve taken care of other tasks first, so I can fully focus once I’m in the studio. And if nothing flows, I take a deliberate break, because you can’t force creativity. I also never use substances or alcohol in the creative process — my best ideas always come with a clear head.

Favorite release at the moment & of all time?

Right now I’m into those two: Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann – Amor (Devoción Mix) and Maksim Dark – Stamper. If I had to choose an all-time favorite, it would be Trentemøller - Moan (Trentemøller Remix).

Naicet sounds like „nice set“ and has caused some confusion and funny situations by the dance floor. But it is her actual name. Being half Mexican and half German the name comes from the language of the Maya, meaning „dreaming next to …“. In contrast to that, her sound isn’t quite dreamy but can rather be described as drifty, dark but melodic. Originating from Hip Hop and RnB, Naicet discovered a fast growing passion for electronic music in her early twenties in Berlin and found her way behind the decks in 2020 beneath the Mystic Creatures event series which has been her home ever since. She now is part of the core team of the Mystic Creatures festival in Poland. Her energetic sets have reached several clubs and festivals in Germany and around the world.

Aus Liebe zum BeatDass wir es bei diesem Künstler mit einem absoluten Profi in der Deep- und Techhouse Szene zutun haben, wird bei seiner Biografie schnell klar: Kai, der heute in den angesagtesten Clubs der Welt Zuhause ist, macht seine ersten Schritte in die elektronische Richtung in den 90er Jahren. Was damals noch ein sehnlichster Traum für den jungen Nachwuchs-DJ ist, gehört heute zu seinem elektronischen Alltag: Ob St. Petersburg, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Ibiza, Mallorca, Berlin oder Hamburg – bei diesen verträumt pulsierenden Sets und effektvollen Beats bleibt selten eine Tanzfläche leer und weil Kai geradezu zum Tanzen verführt, zählt er zu den beliebtesten DJ’s im Deephouse- und House Bereich. Ob dunkle Kellerclubs oder feinste Sandstrände, Tag oder Nacht – dieser Sound soll einfach nicht mehr aufhören.  Mit seinem unverwechselbaren Mix aus Deephouse und  House erobert er im Jahr 2013 dann die internationale Clubszene, startet als DJ in Russland, den Balearen und sogar im Süd-Pazifik durch. Doch auch in Deutschland folgt ein entscheidender Schritt noch im gleichen Jahr: Das Weimarer Label Karera Records übernimmt von nun an sein Management, führt den Ausnahmekünstler mit den bekanntesten Clubs in der Szene zusammen und Kai wird zum unverzichtbaren Teil der Abendgestaltung zahlreicher Deephouse- und House Fans. Seither wird der DJ, der inzwischen zumindest manchmal in seiner Wahlheimat Trier zur Ruhe kommt, regelmäßig vom Berliner Club Sisyphos gebucht. Und noch eine Location scheint seit neuestem an Kai Gefallen gefunden zu haben:  Das in Toplage angesiedelte Kater Blau an der Spree, der als Nachfolger der Bar25 wohl bekannteste Club Berlins.
