Jockkie is a Rotterdam-based DJ, producer, and visual artist creating ambient & groove-hypnotic techno that merges spiritual depth with raw emotion.
Rooted in Surinamese heritage and shaped by years in Rotterdam's nightlife scene, his sound explores the intersection of rhythm, ritual, and inner transformation. 
Through his creative movement Atmasvara, Jockkie uses music as a tool for presence: shifting energy, unlocking flow, and moving both body and spirit.

Expect deep, driving, groovey, hypnotic techno or unconscious explorations of ambient soundscapes with ancestral roots and a futuristic vision. Every set is a journey, every track a ceremony.

I'm a synth & electronic music enthusiast from Belgium. I've been exploring and creating electronic music since the mid 90ies.

I started out with modtrackers on ms-dos when i was 15 and grew into synths and midi. Over the years I collected vintage and less vintage analog and digital synths and developed a passion for the whole synthesizer process. 

These days I'm also fond of modular synthesizers, diy and puredata.

My influences are early electronic music (Klaus Schulze, Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, ...), the 80ties & 90ties Belgian electronic scene (EBM, New-Beat, Acid, ...) but also the 90ties, 2000s and more modern dance, pop & synth music...
