Immerse yourself in a space where the elements of nature merge with the vibration of consciousness. This set was recorded in insta 360° format on the rocky shoreline beneath the sacred Samnaksong Laem Phromthep Buddhist temple in Phuket — a place where the energy of water, wind, and stone converges with deep inner stillness.

The waves crash against the rocks, creating a natural rhythm that merges with deep bass and soft melodies. The wind carries the sound of the ocean, weaving it into the textures of music — like the breath of the world dissolving the boundary between inner and outer realms.

Buddhism teaches that reality is a reflection of the mind. Every thought, every emotion creates a form that manifests in the world. Here, music becomes a tool for shaping thought-forms — vibrations that extend beyond sound and become part of the surrounding space.

The pulse of the bass is the heartbeat of the Earth. The whisper of the waves is the voice of water. The subtle melodies are the flow of consciousness arising from emptiness. Like in Buddhist practice, this set has no goal — only pure presence in the moment, dissolving into the flow of sound and the movement of nature.

As the sun sets, golden light envelops the shore, and the music becomes an extension of that light — as if the mind is dissolving into the space, leaving only the vibration of pure being. In this state, there are no thoughts, no forms — only harmony, flow, and silence between the sounds.

Music here is not just sound. It’s a meditative journey inward. It’s a tool to attune consciousness to the vibration of nature and the Universe.

Open the flow. Feel the music. Hear the silence between the waves. Let the thought-forms unfold through sound.

Making their label debut with the first interpretation of ‘Supernova’ is Pablo Bolivar & Nacho Sanchez.

Hailing from Spain, Pablo Bolivar has been a fixture of the deep house underground for the better part of two decades. Revered for his sultry grooves and organic design, the Cantabria resident and Seven Villas label boss channels languages of varied musical landscapes, churning them into his own complex rollercoaster of intricate dubbed out house and techno.

Of late, fellow countryman Nacho Sanchez has been a frequent production partner of Pablo, bringing his Detroit/Berlin coax of deep elegant techno for a creative synergy which has found the duo thriving.

Now, paired once again for their Refraction debut, Pablo and Nacho deliver a heady interpretation of ‘Supernova’. While maintaining the elusive spirit of the original, the Spanish duo craft a sweeping sonic experience all their own, a transcendent journey into an wintry hinterland, where minimalistic grooves and submerged designs surface from their dubbed-out architecture, onwards to a finale meditative percussive arrangements.

Seven Villas names a group of villages situated on east Cantabria - Spain. Known for its monuments from the XVI and landscapes, those villages saw how Pablo Bolivar grew up at the same time he developed his passion for music and his homeland.

Today, Seven Villas becomes his personal project, a platform specially created to publish music that match his definition of "Musica para Estar", introducing new talented artists and combining their original works with interpretations by his favourites underground artists.
