Tagliabue releases his debut mini-album Ambiente Sonoro on Elephant Gait Music with six contemporary tracks deeply inspired by the reality that surrounds us.

Imagination has no limits, when stimulated by sounds that slowly shade and snake in the listener’s conscious.

Library music is a genre that introduced an extensive use of electronic sounds and high techniques in music making, these experimental and psychedelic compositions enriched Italian radio, film and television soundtracks during the 70s. Artists like Daniela Casa, Egisto Macchi and Piero Umiliani provided scores for documentaries, educational projects and other sound installations; they influenced and helped the Milan based artist to produce his debut mini-album “Ambiente Sonoro”. His experience as a music selector and his previous productions anticipate the character of this new contemporary work. A record that cannot be placed in a specific genre. Ancestral rhythms, post-industrial waves, apocalyptic chants and modular drones, suggest a mental projection into a new planetary system consisting of six bodies with different landscapes, kept in orbit by a cosmic sound perturbation. A dreamy state of emotional, protracted and reflective abandonment.

Tagliabue is a sound engineer, selector and music producer based in Milan. His meticulous musical research reflects an eclectic style characterized by an Italian attitude which is the expression of the love for his land and its traditions. Tracing a music-temporal path that comes from folk sounds mixed with contemporary electronic, he takes inspiration from the environment that surrounds him and breaks down the boundaries between the genres blending its musical influences and reinterpreting its origins with a propensity towards the future.

This is the second track from my "Afterglow" EP on Pablo Bolivar's excellent label Seven Villas Music. 

This track was inspired by regular trips to the park with my young son once the lockdowns and COVID restrictions lifted last year. It was always great to get out of the house, get some fresh air and be in nature. Once we arrived at the park, he would light up, hence the title "Luminous Park".

For our musical village named after an epic dutch town Sakskøbing we are welcoming fresh face Macé who loves house music just as much as we do and ready to prove it. Made and based in Germany the artist has been living and breathing house music for a while and now is ready to present the world his first solo EP. Digital Heaven consists of five tracks which showcases the artists influences in the genre and dives deep into discovering it. From more club-oriented A side to the more relaxed approach filled with deep pads on the B side this record has shown to a very wholesome and soul soothing approach. Being a while in the making it is great to finally seeing it a light of day with its mission to enter the DJ bags of likeminded individuals around the globe for the love of house.

Following his standout remix for Francesco Tamburrano last year, Deepdrome delivers a powerful four-track collection of original productions, showcasing his signature blend of deep, atmospheric grooves and intricate rhythms. Known for his releases on respected imprints like Greyscale, Piranha Siberia Dub, and LW Recordings, Deepdrome continues to solidify his place in the global electronic music scene with this latest offering.

The Natural Phenomenon EP also features a standout remix of Fluid Dynamics by label regular Seabra Monkey, the Dutch producer adding his own dynamic touch to the track.

The new release Aurora by Nick Newman is a captivating dive into the world of ambient techno. This hypnotic work, with its immersive atmospheres and deep rhythms, captures the essence of the ethereal and the terrestrial. Additionally, it features two exceptional remixes by Pedro Sanmartín, adding a new dimension to the track and enhancing its ethereal character with his unique touch.

Beyond The Struttosphere blast back into orbit with the release of ‘Planet Ogo’ on Discolypso. The title track is inspired by progressive trance and fuses a driving chug bassline with a hypnotic 303 sequence, distorted techno stabs and a trifecta of meandering arpeggiators, creating a wormhole through space and time. Thunderous power chords and nuanced percussion layering guide the track towards a cosmic void, echoing with mind-bending vocal samples from the cult sci-fi film ’12 Monkeys’, before a high-voltage crescendo transports you to the Planet Ogo. Remixes are provided by two masters of the scene: South Korean cosmic disco royalty, Shubostar, applies her trademark sound, introducing playful melodies, kinetic arps and retro-futuristic synths that elevate its seismic breakdown into outer space. Spanish new wave maestro, K-Effect, provides a more psychedelic contribution, weaving in tripped-out FX, clinical drum arrangements and low-end synths that propel the tune towards its ominous conclusion.
 
‘Cosmic Stuntman’, the second offering, is as intrepid as its name suggests. The first half is a minimalist soundscape defined by crunchy guitar riffs, energetic tambourines, cowbells and an array of spacey FX, before the second opens in throttle with a ferocious mid-range bass, cutting snares and cosmic pads that build in magnitude as the track reaches its spellbinding climax. Dionigi, alumnus of Italian cosmic sound movement, remixes the track into a low-slung chugger complete with glitchy vocoders that resemble scrambled UFO transmissions.
 
The EP concludes with bonus remixes of BTS back catalogue hits. ‘Replicants’, originally released on Mélopée Records in 2021, is resurrected by Berlin-based electronic rock n’ roll band, Tegel Boys, who transform the track into a krautrock-infused kosmiche space odyssey perfect for tuned-in psychic travellers. Mexican dark wave legend, Rigopolar, follows with a tranced-out remix bolstered by robotic arpeggiators and mechanical guitars that propel you to Mach-10. Completing the package are reinterpretations of ‘Storming Heaven’ which first appeared on Emerald & Doreen Recordings and pays homage to Jay Steven’s eponymous book on LSD and the American dream. Argentinian dark disco producer and member of Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Soundsystem, Julian Sanza, cranks up the funk and reconfigures the track into a Balearic sunset trip. UK godfather of chug Rich Lane isolates the original’s soaring guitar solo and reimagines the track into a mesmerising downtempo chugger tinged with psychedelia.

Beyond The Struttosphere (SXDNS263) presents “Planet Ogo”, an 11-cut parcel that launches listeners into a retro-futuristic odyssey, merging Progressive Trance’s celestial energy with Techno’s raw edge. The album’s four originals are interstellar anthems, led by the title track’s throbbing bassline, squelching 303 patterns, and arpeggiated swirls that conjure visions of cosmic drift. Intergalactic tension meets dance floor propulsion across the LP, bridging ‘90s rave nostalgia with sleek, contemporary production. The seven remixes amplify this ethos, recruiting a who’s-who of Indie Dance and Nu Disco innovators – K-Effect (SXDNS062), Shubostar (SXDNS042), Dionigi, Tegel Boys, Rigopolar, Julian Sanza, and Rich Lane – to refract Planet Ogo through diverse stylistic prisms. From neon-soaked Funk to analog grit, their collective reimaginations stretch the source material’s gravitational reach.

While each remixer injects distinct flair, K-Effect’s contribution emerges as a haunting standout. The seasoned Spanish artist cloaks the title track in psychedelic unease, replacing euphoric Trance crescendos with eerie, slow-burning dread. Razor-sharp drum programming slices through murky synth layers and disintegrating FX, while tectonic bass swells drag the groove into shadowy depths. Dreams do come true! After Garbicz 2017 I said "next year I want to play here" it felt more like a dream than something else,. Lucky for me @minitanz is my girlfriend and somehow she manage to give me a set at Garbicz Festival for my 30s birthday! This sunset is truly one of my highlights this year and a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life. 
I would like to thank my @TanzOaze family for always supporting me all the people who came and danced with me, the Juicy bar crew and Garbicz Festival!

'Hosu' is a spine-tingling number with majestic keys and chords overlaid with deep, warm drums. It's a real trip into melancholic moods and is the sort of lush track that sinks you into a reverie.
