Inverze / Psynopticz Records Series Ep  2 (Trance México)

This is a Sonica Recordings episode bringing you a release show case, GINO SONICA  is presenting all the tunes of the "Altered Genetics" compilation in a short mix he did at his little home studio in Napoli. GINO was the executive-producer and one of the founders of the very well-known Sonica Festival and also label manager of Sonica Recordings. Now a veteran about psychedelic music gatherings, he begins his active participation since 1990, immediately keen on acid-techno frequencies of that age. His dancefloor- driving experience melted with his professional know-how in event management led him to project and create Sonica Dance Festival in the year 2005, running 10 editions till last year 2018, when he decided to stop this production in order to undertake new projects out of Italy and to focus on his own music label. He founded Sonica Recordings in May 2010. Gino is currently continuing his activity as a production consultant and stage manager for the Ozora Festival manstage and collecting new bookings for the next summer shows. Gino is also currently starting new collaborations, in terms of event production and management, with other international events and new rising projects. Many further details will be publicly announced soon through the network.

sG4rY is an anthropologist, general adventurist, humorist, academic scholar and Psychedelic Trance DJ with more than 15 years of international experience, residing in Bavarias beautiful capital Munich. 

He represents the well-known music label Sangoma Records since it was founded in 2011, being responsible for its first Various Artist release in 2012 (VA - Multi-Faith Mantra) and currently working on another release with a well known Bavarian Darkpsy Label ;) 

His heavy itchy feet syndrom, his taste in a wide range of styles in Psychedelic Trance and the lust for encountering new like minded psychonauts has led him to perform at events such as Antaris Project (Germany), Hilltop New Years Eve (Goa/India), Mo:Dem Festival (Croatia), Kosmos Festival (Finland), Sonica Dance Festival (Italy), Universal Religion (Nepal), Trimurti Festival (Russia), Waldfrieden Wonderland Festival (Germany), Yaga Gathering (Lithuania) and countless other events around Austria, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and the Netherlands.

Creating a journey sui generis for his listeners is his biggest aspiration. Psychedelic Trance has to be approached from different angles, using the many colourful vibrations it offers. Therefore, sG4rY likes to play sets as long as possible in order to draw from the different musical influences he gets from befriended artists, musicians and freaks around the globe. Nightly journeys that disscolve towards the first glimpses of the new day as well as sending the crowd into the night with a powerful kick off, or even sunny variations with non-cheesy hypnotic daytime trance are all part of his repertoire. He loves that special energy during sunrise and sunset on the dancefloor and tries to use it for involving the crowd into a flow of certain feelings and sensations, sometimes humorous, sometimes gloomy or filled with deep emotions. His numerous various artist releases over the years on different labels mirror this passion for muscial variety and expression.
