e-verynight is a track created through a long game of musical telephone. The intention of the game is to compose a piece of music out of a series of short audio clips from a group of people. We formed a long chain of people, and created musical gestures based on the sound from the previous person in the chain, without having heard any of the other sounds. It is similar to exquisite corpse, but with sound.

Started and completed in one day for the 1 year anniversary of e-veryday, October 2022.

Before, 
it was a subtle unrest. 
Whispers of things not right, but only whispers. 
Your comfort in ideas too long for this world keep them in check. 
But now your cornerstone is molding, your foundation, weak. 
These whispers hint at something deeper; 
something unseen, unheard, but felt. 
It grows, little by little, until you are swallowed by it, and it 
is the only thing you feel. 
When it is named, it manifests at the forefront of your mind, demanding you see what you've neglected to see all this time, and so you swallow it, 
put on your shoes, 
and play pretend.
