When it comes to techno, minimal, or deep tunes, Hamburg-based Lampé is a factory full of tricks. Lyrics inspired by the repeated opening and closing of clubs and events over the course of the past year, Lampe's title track is full of restless energy just waiting to be unleashed. This techno heater maintains a solid stomping groove with savage blaring and stabbing synths filtering in and out adding dark melody and swing. Each transition and crescendo is masterfully written with precision for ultimate enjoyment and total debauchery. Enjoy this track along with the rest of the whole EP!

The next installment of the Senso Sounds Level series sees us hit edition 9 - with another exciting
crop of artists to watch. 80 releases in and Senso continues to keep the quality at an almost
unthinkable level - and here is yet more evidence. Level 9 is four cuts from four artists - starting
off with Weltenstein, a DJ live act, classical concert pianist and producer based in Cologne.
He brings us 'Chiapas' - a tough-as-nails techno roller with crisp percussion and an aggressive
temperament. The Kech is a musician and DJ from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. His 'Strong Liquid'
track is a hypnotic, grooving tech cut that pulls you into its spell. The Russian artist Lie2you has
been receiving a lot of support from techno royalty like Dubfire and Richie Hawtin, and here with
'Find The Way' we are blessed with an exceptional piece of highly dynamic techno, built for big
systems and primed to hit hard. Last up is Roman Adam’s trippy, spacy techno journey to outer
space 'Dark Side of the Moon'. Inspired by the Senso back catalogue, Adam’s track is the sound
of him musing on the unknown, and imagining an exciting journey of discovery - a perfect fit for
the label.

For its second release, Depth gives voice to the rising Italian talent Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory who strikes again with a new amazingly crafted four-track EP.

"Nocturnal" is composed by 4 straight up rhythmical and yet subtly sophisticated compositions whose master ingredients are a compelling and percussive groove enhanced by artful waves of arpeggios and punctuated by dramatic and atmospheric breakdowns.

Opening the journey, "Revenge" features an outstanding combination of kicking afro-spirited percussions and clattering synths to create a powerful robotic and hypnotic tempo. Picking up the pace, the title track and Night Shadows both develop multiple

layers of synth chords and textures married with a catchy pulsating drum pattern and suggestive haunting vocal samples. The closing chapter driven by a whirling beat echoes the inspirational force of telluric spirits at dusk. Deep into the darkness, but without desperately sinking into its gloomy sides.

No doubt that with this last opus, Ivory singles out again with a unique and vivid display of both smart and emotional dancefloor-orientated soundscape.
