As a kid I'd often watch my older brothers play super nintendo, sega genesis, PlayStation 1, and early PC games endlessly. This is a collection of renditions I've done over the years of some of my favorite themes from various video games from my childhood. I owe a lot to all of the Japanese composers featured on this release for inspiring my work even to this day.

Assorted VGM Covers & Remixes [COMPILATION SAMPLER]

This is but one of a handful of retro vgm remixes/covers that I've done but haven't quite released in any official capacity over the past half decade. Eventually I may include them all in a compilation hosted on my Bandcamp for free or something. 'Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past' might still be my favorite entry in the franchise, at least as far as the soundtrack goes, just given the heavy nostalgia factor it tends to have on me.

A cover/recreation of my favorite track from my favorite Mega Man game, Mega Man 8! I did this back in 2018 for what was planned to be a Mega Man Remix compilation featuring an assortment of vgm and digital-fusion producers in the scene. Unfortunately due to a number of snags and miscommunications during the process of putting it together, the release was postponed multiple times and eventually forgotten. I've played this a handful of times out at live gigs like MAGFest through the years, but I'm glad to finally be hosting it for everyone to hear now. Enjoy!

As with the other vgm covers/remixes I've been posting, this is one that you've probably heard in some form or another in a previous URL or live set of mine, as I've often dropped it when I play out. Yuzo Koshiro and the whole Streets of Rage II OST still hold up as some of my all time biggest influences in regards to early inspirations that galvanized my desire to produce vgm type stuff from a young age.  Glad I can finally share this track in it's newly updated/finished form!
