Our 2023 kicks off with a Split EP by Forest On Stasys & Vanoni. 

Forest On Stasys opens the release with "Entre Malezas" a track that is characterized for being a downtempo track where the tribal rhythmic grows and the percussion begins to generate hypnosis in constant repetition while a choir pad rises and is the climax of the trance. The story continues with "Rítmica Natural" a minimalist track that retains the tribal vibe, where you can appreciate a rich saturation in the drums giving it a lo-fi aesthetic but keeping depth. A tool designed to measure for the dance floor where a French voice takes center stage and creates a psychedelic atmosphere. 

Vanoni started his side with "Kaiquen" a deep track true to his slow progression style where the combination of noises and a simple bass line captivate you, the drums and textures are very subtle but are in charge of creating the atmosphere together with an oscillating soundscape. "Oshin" ends this chapter, Vanoni's classic sound is reflected in this track, a solid and marked groove together with hypnotic synths which are already a mark of his sound design and give him great personality when it comes to deep techno tracks.

Today we’re happy to premiere Laima Adelaide’s latest offering in the form of Eidos. A mesmerizing deep techno track that combines pulsating beats, atmospheric textures, and a subtle upward melody to create a captivating sonic journey. The track is designed to envelop listeners in a hypnotic rhythm, gradually building tension and anticipation as it progresses.

The foundation of Eidos lies in its deep, thumping bassline, which provides a solid and driving groove throughout the entire composition. Resonating with a powerful presence, effortlessly propelling the track forward and establishing a strong sense of momentum.

Joining Laima on the VA release are the likes of Doltz, Yuka, and The Alchemical Theory. Yuga I will be released out into the world, on the 21st of June.

From the inner forests of Jeju island come the latest musical explorations by Delayed favorite, Adhémar. The multi-talented French producer once again returns to Huinali for his latest album titled, The Birth of Mist. True to form, there is a heavy emphasis on nature and grounding, each track lures the listener into a zen like state, swaying to and fro with the rhythmic percussion.

Our premiere for today, Hidden Forest Lake invites listeners on a journey of introspection and discovery, where time seems to slow and the boundaries between self and nature blur. It is a testament to the enduring power of rhythm and melody to transport us to places unseen, where the mysteries of the natural world unfold before us in all their splendor.

Hidden Forest Lake and the remainder of ‘The Birth of Mist’ will be released on Huinali Recordings, the 26th of February.

Wonderfully unique, and rooted in field recordings, UK producers Yard One & Tryst’s productions are no stranger to us at Delayed. Having premiered many a tune of theirs over the years, it’s always nice to listen to their latest project. Today is no different as they, alongside Red Pig Flower, and Vovian, join forces to create the latest release on Stolar, titled ‘San-lim Yok’.

Haeundae Beach (The End Of The Line), is like a musical deep breath. Giving space and letting listeners take a pause, to recenter themselves. Soft melodies swirl around the depths, while soothing Korean spoken words add a zen-like element. All backed by the sounds and textures of waves crashing on a beach, far far away. As a companion to the premiere, and release, a short film has been created, envisaging the above, set in an evocative color palette, like a shared fever dream.

Forthcoming on Stolar, the San-lim Yok EP also features notable remixes from Alex Albrecht, and Eli Verveine to round out an already jam-packed release that should be out on December 10th.

"My Grandfather, who played a grand role as one of the Masters in my upbringing, introduced me to Omar Khayyam, Rumi, Nizami Ganjavi, Saadi and other Persian philosophers and poets. Basically the whole Sufi poetry, teaching, vision and being is the major and vibrant source of a dancing inspiration for the album."

Much like Saphileaum's forementioned inspirations, 'Transpersonal Experience' has an instant transcending effect on the listener - invoking a sense of clear focus & tranquility, yet subtly pulsing with the tribal rhythm of dance. It's the perfect mood enhancer.
