Cumbia All Stars es un proyecto en el que participan los maestros de la cumbia peruana clásica, ligados por largos años a esta rica tradición musical.

Cumbia All Stars es un viaje en búsqueda del sonido clásico de la cumbia peruana de melodías delirantes, disonancias y ritmos duros. Sin mayores concesiones que las impuestas por el paso de los años, Cumbia All Stars devuelve la Cumbia peruana al campo de la búsqueda y la experimentación.

Descripción
Pocos estilos musicales han sido tan unánimemente populares en Perú como la cumbia. Echando sus raíces en los suburbios de la capital entre los hijos de inmigrantes y en las ciudades lejanas de la Selva Amazónica, sus melodías delirantes han estado en el aire durante más de cuarenta años. 
Cumbia All Stars es un tributo a tal fenómeno y al mismo tiempo un viaje en busca de los sonidos auténticos de la Cumbia Peruana. Con sus guitarras virtuosas y su rica percusión, los Cumbia All Stars desempolvan majestuosamente las mejores canciones del género e innovan componiendo nuevas melodías sin trastocar la esencia tradicional. 
Participan en este proyecto las leyendas vivas de la cumbia que han estado ligados por más de 40 años de trayectoria artística, contribuyendo al nacimiento, en los años 70’s, de este rico estilo musical que ahora es apreciado por todo el mundo.

I was born in Milan ( Italy ) and I studied alto sax and guitar. From 1974 to 1985 I traveled around the world for studying African , Indian and Near East & Far East music I recorded music " on field " and I have studied and collected ethnic musical instruments by all the parts of the world . 
I recorded LPs and CDs for different European labels : Raw Materials records , Victò , Recommended records , Lowlands Island ,  Auditorium , Voiceprint / Gonzo Multimedia ,  Music from Memory , Soave records , Goodfellas records. 
In 80' and 90' I broadcasted ethnic and electronic / experimental music from radio stations (Rai , Radio Popolare ). 
I composed and played music for videos and commercial spots , dance, live soundtracks for silent movie , for poems and theater . My LP "Water messages on desert sand", was Grammy-nominated in in UK on 1987. 
I developed digital interfaces for guitar (tactile and laser: "Extended Guitar") and I have developed video and audio installations where music and images changed togheter each other , in real time , triggered by movements , audio inputs and live cameras. 
From 80' till today I played with many Italian ,  European  and American musicians : Giovanni Venosta , Claudio Gabbiani , Walter Prati ,  Giorgio Magnanensi, Massimo Cavallaro , Tiziano Tononi , Daniele Cavallanti , Massimo Mariani , Moni Ovadia , Chris Cutler ,  Jon Rose , David Moss , Steve Piccolo , Elliott Sharp , Keith Tippett  , Third Ear Band  ( plunderphonics) .
