Plains in Wakanda is a journey where lo-fi spirit meets African soul. This album was created using authentic African tribal instruments, blending their natural textures with chilled lo-fi beats to create something both native and modern.

Each track carries a soft rhythmic pulse, a sense of openness, and the warmth of the African plains. When you listen, you can almost see lions moving across golden fields, elephants roaming beneath acacia trees, and sunsets painting the horizon.

This is the first, and probably not the last, of the Fairy Of The Lake of many colours. First there was the Blue Fairy, then, people, you asked for more, and we made up the Red Fairy, and, when you wanted more still, the White Fairy was put together. The tracks in the compilation are borrowed from many countries, some are British, some German, some Greek, some Spanish, some French, some Brasilian, one Italian. However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. They believed that witches could turn people into beasts, that beasts could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. So the new SHANGO RECORDS compilation is entitled “Fairy Of The Lake” and includes eighteen amazing tracks for your personal book of tales.  Songs about love, hate, broken dreams, suffocation and holding hands. For the dreamers, the shakers, the moochers and the makers; we are all born of civilised madness, so let's go with the flow!

She dearly loved this street, which stayed awake all night keeping her heart company. It was a friend but ignorant of the heart that loved it through the shutters of the enclosed balcony. Its features filled her mind, and its evening inhabitants were live voices inhabiting her ears — like this waiter who never stopped talking, the person with the hoarse voice who commented on the events of the day without getting tired or annoyed, the man with the nervous voice trying his luck at cards with the seven of diamonds and the jack, and the father of Haniya —the little girl with whooping cough — who night after night would reply when asked about her, "Our Lord will be able to cure her." Oh . . . the balcony seemed to be her special corner of the coffeehouse. Memories of the street paraded before her imagination while her eyes remained fixed on the man's head, which was leaning against the back of the sofa.  Akuba left his Eastern home and ran south of the border. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks will bring light into darkness. DIBIDABO, Noble Spirits, Renzo Zong & Ricardo Zavaleta, Rodrigo Gallardo are travelers remain in the beauty of light.
