Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

In geometry, an octahedron is a polyhedron with eight faces, twelve edges, and six vertices. The term is most commonly used to refer to the regular octahedron, a Platonic solid composed of eight equilateral triangles, four of which meet at each vertex. A Platonic solid is a convex regular polyhedron in three-dimensional Euclidean space. Being a regular polyhedron means that the faces are congruent (identical in shape and size) regular polygons (all angles congruent and all edges congruent), and the same number of faces meet at each vertex. The Platonic solids have been known since antiquity. It has been suggested that certain carved stone balls created by the late Neolithic people of Scotland represent these shapes. The ancient Greeks studied the Platonic solids extensively. Some sources credit Pythagoras with their discovery. Other evidence suggests that he may have only been familiar with the tetrahedron, cube, and dodecahedron and that the discovery of the octahedron and icosahedron belong to Theaetetus, a contemporary of Plato. In any case, Theaetetus gave a mathematical description of all five and may have been responsible for the first known proof that no other convex regular polyhedra exist. M.Age.Project is giving knowledge and good vibes through music. This is his second offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can teach you the mysteries of geometry. • Serkan Eles began his journey in music with leading the guitarist slots for different bands in 2002. After spending some time enjoying playing around with those notes with his guitar, he discovered other kinds of possibilities that he could Visionaire upon his sophisticated music taste within the electronic music genres. Upon completing his music production training at SAE Institute Istanbul, he decided to pursue this dream and focused his time on building a new career in the electronic music industry. Serkan loves exploring the beats of different electronic music genres in his productions, his sound travels between downtempo electronica, ethnic/melodic house, and many other colorful tunes. After successful releases on different labels like Sol Selectas, BAR25 Music, 3000Grad Records, Merkaba Music he also founded his own label and made it home to many successful releases that have been streamed over 3million times on different platforms. The release of the daring full-length album "Tattoo Tara" marked the defining step from balearic chill-out onto the stage of world music influenced club sounds. With beard braids behind the turntables the unconventional DJ premiered his spirited signature sound of deep rhythms, ethnic elements and synthesized wizardry at "Masala", which has been one of the most respected worldbeat festivals in Europe in the past 25 years.

Joining forces with the crew of "Meeronauten Musik" from Hamburg since summer 2022 marks another essential step in his recent musical development, marked in particular by the release of the EP "Essence" in collaboration with Dr. Christian Rätsch (internationally renowned expert on Mayan culture, shamanism and ethnomedicinal plants).  
With the potential of this crew of artists, performing at esteemed festivals and clubs such as 3000Grad, Meeresrausch, KunstFestSpiele, Katerblau, Klunkerkranich, Beate Uwe, Fundbureau, Baalsaal, Conny Kramer… to name but a few, a promising new chapter is on the horizon!
