Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

He packed up her things and, carefully holding the bowl in her hand, walked in the direction of the needle, past Fruitless Mountain. “Goodbye, Jade Dragon,” she said as she left. “When I come back I will know how to make you happy again!” She walked and walked and the stony land slowly turned into forest. Even when the moon was high in the sky, she continued. “I want to make sure I walk far enough that if Ma and Ba begin to look for me, they can’t find me,” she said to herself. The fallen leaves made a soft carpet for her feet and the night birds flew into the sky as she passed. Only when the sky lightened to gray and the sun began to peek over the horizon did she sit down and rest against a tall tree. She had traveled deep into the forest, far from her village and her home. She was so tired that she quickly fell asleep. M.Age.Project fell asleep in Hannover and woke up days later in the center of the universe. This is his third offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can give you beauty and knowledge as a wise man can do. Solar Kings and Catatonique bring the book of miracles and hopes to every village.

Producer and DJ Matthias H. from Hanover/Germany, well-equipped with the skills of a classically trained jazz musician, is the musical mind behind the M.Age.Project and with many years of experience in top-notch music production, he can look back on numerous releases on labels such as Sony Music, ZYX and Wagram as well as Lump Records (Chile), Baikal Nomads (Russia), Ohxalá Records (Portugal), Cosmovision Records (Canada), Planet Ibiza (Spain), Shango Records (Greece), Camel VIP (Romania), Nu Bohème and Peacelounge (Germany).

In 2013 Matthias H. was given the special honor of composing and playing music for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The work was performed with 400 kids and young people during the Nobel Peace Prize winner's visit to Hanover as part of an educational event concerning the future prospects for children and the need for a Global Ethic.

The release of the daring full-length album "Tattoo Tara" marked the defining step from balearic chill-out onto the stage of world music influenced club sounds. With beard braids behind the turntables the unconventional DJ premiered his spirited signature sound of deep rhythms, ethnic elements and synthesized wizardry at "Masala", which has been one of the most respected worldbeat festivals in Europe in the past 25 years.

Joining forces with the crew of "Meeronauten Musik" from Hamburg since summer 2022 marks another essential step in his recent musical development, marked in particular by the release of the EP "Essence" in collaboration with Dr. Christian Rätsch (internationally renowned expert on Mayan culture, shamanism and ethnomedicinal plants).  
With the potential of this crew of artists, performing at esteemed festivals and clubs such as 3000Grad, Meeresrausch, KunstFestSpiele, Katerblau, Klunkerkranich, Beate Uwe, Fundbureau, Baalsaal, Conny Kramer… to name but a few, a promising new chapter is on the horizon!

Today the M.Age.Project is manifesting as a highly appreciated gem for cosmopolitan listeners, dance-loving festival fans and like-minded artists of a transcultural electronica movement all around the globe. Enjoy!

PALE PENGUIN’s one of the key figures in Greek electronic scene. Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, he’s been djing for almost 20 years being one of the best Greek Breaks/Techno/Tech-House djs. In his portfolio there are appearances in big festivals (Sola Luna, Balkan Voices, Urban Rhythm, Reworks, Butterfly, Spring Festen) alongside Slam, Felix Da Housecat, Dave Angel, Luke Slater, Dominic Eulberg, Modeselektor, Rob Luis (Tru Thoughts), Coldcut, Octave One, Eddie Piller etc, and many venues throughout Greece and Europe. He has done warm-ups to artists likes Rjd2, Thievery Corporation, Richard Dorfmeister, Nightmares On Wax, Kid Loco, Mushroom (Massive Attack), Frank Popp, Bjorn Torske, Bentley’s Rhythm Ace, Snowboy, Hooverphonic etc. He was one of the first radio producers playing Breaks/Drum n’Bass and Electronica in his legendary “Tricknology”, “Brainwash” and “Cinematica Paradiso” radio shows.  Since 2003 he’s resident dj in Bar/Club Elvis, Thessaloniki, Greece presenting Friday “BreakTech” nights in which he has hosted Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Tom Real, Malente, Andy Smith, Ursula 1000, Smacs & Crazy Sonic, Lee Bass and Aidan Lavelle. He was also resident dj to legendary club Liebe, Thessaloniki, Greece in which he has done warm-up sets for Meat Katie, Kevin Saunderson, AtJazz, Break The Box etc. He has done exclusive mix sets for many net radios (Ibreaks Radio, NSB Radio, Breakbeat.Ca site, NuBreaks Radio), exclusive mix CD’s (“Battle Of The Breaks” series) for Freeze magazine, he has performed dj sets in Thessaloniki’s International Fair, Thessaloniki’s International Film Festival, has took part many times (as member of the djs team) in the biggest Balkans Hip-Hop/Breakdance/Funky Breaks event “Battle Of The Year/Balkans”, and in many clubs throughout Europe (Flex Club/Vienna, Arttheater Club/Cologne, Art & Dance/Cologne, Rivolli/London, Club Montepulciano/London, South London Pacific/London). HIs production activities begun with SCOPITONE CONSPIRACY & POZITRONIC RAY and since 2006 he’s member of THE SCIENTIFICS-a Breaks project which have released singles and remixes for labels like V.I.M.Breaks, Erase, Basstard, Yellow Finger Communications, Warriorz Music, performed live throughout Greece, Italy and Germany, and being presented in many sites, radios, forums (BreakinAsia, Breakbeat Canada, Annie Nightingale Radio 1 Show, Ibreaks Radio, NSB Radio, Nu Breaks Radio etc). Since early 2007, together with Echonomist and Mr.Lookman, launched and manages V.I.M. (Very Important Music) Records, releasing quality Breaks, Tech-House, Electronica singles and albums by many International and Greek artists. From the beginning of 2009 he has formed with KID STRETCH the Funky/Disco-Breaks project PALE THE KID. Focused mainly on Electro Disco-Breaks sound they have managed to release stuff for Breakbeat Paradise, V.I.M.Breaks, Dirty Drop, Warriorz Music and Timewarp Music. In the beginning of 2011 together with STAMA he had launched DIABLO LOCO RECORDS, a label specialized on top quality Tech-Breaks/Tech-Funk releases. DIABLO LOCO RECORDS managed to do an awesome start with awesome singles and remixesand gained BREAKSPOLL 2012 BEST NEW BREAKS LABEL AWARD.
